"Lovely, quiet hotel close to old Durham. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and particular kudos to those working the evening shift in the restaurant and bar."
"What a superb stay- the room was a good size with a large bathroom, the food menu was good and overall service was superb. I look forward to staying here again."
"Great time. Enjoyed a meal in the Rib room. Spa facilities were super and definitely great getting us ready for a wedding, also dealing with the consequences from the wedding. "

"We were very impressed with the Indigo, such a beautiful building, renovated to a super high standard. Our room was spacious, bathroom facilities amazing and excellent facilities. Breakfast was varied and hearty in a lovely environment. We also used the lower ground coffee shop. They were so friendly and helpful. "
"Regular emails by the host, easy to access the property with the codes, free parking at the back of the property, apartment spacious both bedroom had their own bedrooms, 2nin walk to the town with restaurants and bars on the doorstep "
"The cleanliness of this apartment was substandard, dirty bedlinen which was stained and had other people’s hair on it. Very smelly unclean drains in the bathroom which kept us awake at night it was so bad. We had to clean the plug in the bathroom sink as it was full of black mould which washed into sink every time you put plug in. The carpets and sofa were dirty with stains, presumably from other peoples dogs? We couldn’t use the sofa it was so bad, no throw to cover it. Spider webs covered the light fittings. The apartment needs a thorough deep clean.
The wine, chocolates, milk and orange juice were a nice touch but we would have preferred the apartment to be clean and no gifts. Very disappointing."
