Lovely overnight stay in a clean and stylish room with a comfortable firm bed. Was able to sleep well despite being right near a busy main road, good soundproofing. Breakfast was a delicious and extensive buffet style with a nice range of options. The whole atmosphere was calm and trendy, with a convenient location for our stay. There were a few little odd issues like some lift buttons being damaged and TV being a bit temperamental. Could do with a little TLC in that respect but it didn't stop our stay being enjoyable.

The fact you cannot pay cash is very disappointing. We were on the 16th floor and we went down to buy pop and water, had cash but left cards in room, we get there and no cash only card, not good. Also went for breakfast and sat on the right, to be told we can’t sit there as it’s now shut 9.35am, the section on the left was very busy and there was no clean table there that’s why went and sat in the right hand section. Dissatisfied

"The communal areas were very nice with a good bar (though personally it wcould have benefited from a craft beer or 2 rather than lagers and traditional ales. The room was a little dated and the bed a bit too firm for me but in the grand scheme these are relatively minor points to an overall good ..."
