"The hotel is infested with cockroaches and mice, I had to kill a cockroach in the room, told the staff and the only thing they did was to spray a lot of pesticide inside the room without my consent and with all my things inside, they even expected us to sleep in that room without a 2 and 4 year old, since I complained they ended up changing our room, but their poor communication and lack of good customer service made our stay not enjoyable at all.To sum it up it was the worst experience, don’t stay there if you want a nice hotel with nice customer service go to Mayan."
"We had an excellent stay for 6 days at the Kimpton in the 3 bedroom beachfront suite. Our room was clean quiet and comfortable with super cold AC and hot water. The pool was exceptional with a stunning ocean view providing towels, sunscreen, bug spray and they even inflated our floats from home. We especially enjoyed the snorkeling and clear bottom kayaks on the beach. The waitstaff was friendly and the food and drinks were amazing. We enjoyed the spa for a couples massage and the workout facility each day. Lea in concierge went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed from small things that we forgot to bigger things such as planning excursions and transportation. The hotel restaurants (especially the breakfast) were excellent but so many other restaurants close enough to walk or hop on a water taxi. I highly recommend the Kimpton Roatan resort."
"The proximity to the water was perfect, but the beach vendors were relentless. There were times we would tell them no and they would just stand there and stare at us for several minutes anyway. This occurred directly in front of the guard booth. The condo was large and nice, but there was black mold all along the ceiling. The housekeeper came daily. The day bartender Daniella was fantastic. The night bartenders ignored my existence every night, to the point that other patrons would summon them for me. We would have spent several hundred dollars more if I could have ordered drinks. Instead, we walked down to Bananarama and had cheaper drinks and food each night. We tip so well that it’s unfortunate the evening bartenders at Infinity Bay didn’t want my money. Overall, it was a nice resort. I wish the pool was open later though, with drinks available. I would stay here again and I would recommend it to others, but warn them about the problem with getting drinks from the two night bartenders. Breakfast was so good, definitely a huge perk."
"Excellent place for couples or people that want to stay away from the crowds and kids. Never have to worry about beach chair availability. Located right in the middle of west bay 5 minute walk to incredible snorkeling. Food and bar options at Arca are second to none. The upstair luxury rooms are super worth it. Security 24/7 never felt unsafe. Its truly the best adults only resort at west bay."
"The staff was so nice, the free breakfast was AMAZING and everything was so clean and nice. Only about a 1 minute walk to the beach which is beautiful and tons to do nearby"
