The room are small with beds less than 6ft from the door into the corridor, pipes dripping through the night, hairs in bathroom, air con pipe work making noise when off, no welcome or help on arrival only asked once i had finished but given no details of the hotel or where the lifts were very poor Food was awful and coleslaw definitely not edible the worst village ive been too what a let down

Upon arrival between 10.30 and 11pm on Thursday, 4th April 2024, the receptionist was unwelcoming, uncommunicative, miserable and quite obviously hated her job. In all the hotels in all the world, she had to be the worst. The room was ok. Was shocked to find a glass door to the bathroom- no privacy whilst on the toilet!! Talking of the toilet, it was badly stained and the shower was filthy, as was the soap bottle provided by the hand wash basin. The skirting board nearest to the bed hadn’t been cleaned in months as there was dirt, dust, fluff and someone’s nail clippings on there. The bed was comfortable and the large tv meant we were able to relax down before falling asleep. It was a shame, as I think with friendlier staff, better cleaning this could have been a better, more pleasurable experience. I don’t usually leave reviews, but felt I had to on this occasion.

Loved the self check in. The public areas and bedrooms are great, very quirky. Only thing I was unhappy about was it was not too clear about free parking at weekends. I paid via the app and was only when in the room the note was there advising of this. Will definitely return
