The room are small with beds less than 6ft from the door into the corridor, pipes dripping through the night, hairs in bathroom, air con pipe work making noise when off, no welcome or help on arrival only asked once i had finished but given no details of the hotel or where the lifts were very poor Food was awful and coleslaw definitely not edible the worst village ive been too what a let down

Upon arrival between 10.30 and 11pm on Thursday, 4th April 2024, the receptionist was unwelcoming, uncommunicative, miserable and quite obviously hated her job. In all the hotels in all the world, she had to be the worst. The room was ok. Was shocked to find a glass door to the bathroom- no privacy whilst on the toilet!! Talking of the toilet, it was badly stained and the shower was filthy, as was the soap bottle provided by the hand wash basin. The skirting board nearest to the bed hadn’t been cleaned in months as there was dirt, dust, fluff and someone’s nail clippings on there. The bed was comfortable and the large tv meant we were able to relax down before falling asleep. It was a shame, as I think with friendlier staff, better cleaning this could have been a better, more pleasurable experience. I don’t usually leave reviews, but felt I had to on this occasion.

Loved the self check in. The public areas and bedrooms are great, very quirky. Only thing I was unhappy about was it was not too clear about free parking at weekends. I paid via the app and was only when in the room the note was there advising of this. Will definitely return

Noisy, dirty and got no sleep
We are frequent visitors but we won’t be using the hotel again, we were put in room 225 and the noise from the gum below was unacceptable, until late at night and then again at 4am! This was even more annoying by the fact that we booked originally to use the gym as it was advertised as 24 hours use! But we could only access it in hours that were too late in thr morning for us, we raised the point with reception, only to be told “ oh yes that room can be noisy!” The bathroom was far from clean and cobwebs were abundant in there, not happy with our stay, will not be back

Didn't enjoy my stay
Went for a work do didn't enjoy the 3 course meal the soup was a bit spicy my face was burning so I had to stop main turkey was dry dessert chocolate to bitter really should get at least 3 different options on each course With the room my sleep was disturbed at 4 am with a alarm going off and found it very hard to go back to sleep False advertisement on about the room there is no Dyson hair dryer it's a standard hair dryer and no Google nest or Alexa. For the price I paid for the room access to the pool should be included as well as breakfast as it's not in a catchment area there is not a lot around

Noisy
The hotel was very nice and the Shower was very good. However my room was on the 2nd floor adjacent the staff lift and above the kitchen and because of the open ceilings on the GF I'm not sure if it was noise from the kitchen or Gym but it echoed around the hotel all day and all night. Also staff lift room door banging regular.

Was impressed with check in and service. The room was great with very large tv, comfortable bed. Food was very good with a great selection. Also the breakfast was excellent. I must say that all the staff were helpful and polite and made my stay a very pleasant one. Would definitely stay there again.

Great modern and comfortable hotel, the staff were personable and our stay was relaxing. Clean rooms with plenty of amenities. No windows in the rooms and the rooms are on the smaller side.
