This was a great place to stay at the end of our trip. It's located near the tram and you can easily get into the city center. The building is older, but they have done a great job with refurbishing. The room does lack some ventilation, but that is somewhat expected with older buildings. The staff were friendly and nice.

Unfortunately, the worst stay I’ve ever had. The shower was mouldy and covered in grime. When I asked for it to be cleaned, so much bleach was used that I couldn’t stay in my room and had to leave the window and door open to air it out. When I requested a room change, staff were awkward and refused, offering room spray instead!
This is the most expensive accommodation I’ve ever paid for, yet the worst experience. There are much better places to stay in Edinburgh. Unfortunately, our usual hotel was fully booked due to this being a last-minute trip. Wouldn’t recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The location is unbeatable—right next to Waverley Station and just a 5-minute walk to the Royal Mile. The staff were wonderfully friendly and welcoming.
The only drawback was a hole/opening in the bedroom wall. We specifically booked an apartment for bedroom privacy, so having that gap defeated the main purpose of choosing a separate bedroom layout. With that issue fixed, it would be an ideal stay!

Perfect location. Great apartment. Easy check-in and check-out. Would definitely stay here again (despite the noise from the bar below that went on until 2 a.m. almost every night...turn on the fan to help drown out the noise and maybe bring ear plugs). We would still stay there again, and plan to!!
