Gorgeous Grassmarket Apartment! In quiet & secure courtyard in central Old Town
This stylish and contemporary, first floor apartment (up one flight of steps) for two guests is located in a secure, quiet, 200 year old Close on the vibrant and historic Grassmarket, and is just a few steps from all of Edinburgh's major attractions and transport links. The Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle are about 2 minutes walk from the apartment and Princes Street & Waverley Railway Station are only 10 minutes walk. It's basically the perfect location from which to step out, experience all the sights and discover your own Edinburgh! A lovely and spacious apartment sleeping two guests in the bedroom in a luxurious King Size bed. Ideal for couples. The apartment is arranged on open plan so please note that the bedroom area is open to the living / dining area, separated by the wardrobe. The bright open plan living/dining area and kitchen overlook the private courtyard of the Close. Fully fitted kitchen has everything you might need, including a dishwasher and washing machine. For drying clothes there is a drying rack for air drying. Large bathroom with bath and shower over the bath. Access to the apartment is via one flight of 17 steps. Check-in is from 3pm & Check-out by 10am.

My husband and I had a great time. The apartment was clean, spacious, and in a perfect location. The manager gave clear explicit directions for everything you may need-including emergency dentist and doctor. We were so pleased!
Personally we felt like the property was even more roomy than the pictures showed (often the reverse can be true). Everything was very clean and full of amenities. You walk right out onto the Grassmarket area and the start of Bow/Victoria St, so just a great location to explore.
Tons of shops, restaurants, pubs right there, and good groceries are very close by as well.
The host (Fiona) was very helpful and responsive. We'd highly recommend staying here! Thanks for the wonderful stay!
Great little apartment - spotlessly clean and has all you’d need for a city break. We stayed for three nights during the festival. The extractor fan from the restaurant next door was a little noisy when trying to get my daughter to bed but it was switched off soon after 10 so not a problem. Fiona was great and really communicative
We absolutely loved this apartment! The location cannot be beat - you walk out the courtyard and you're in West Bow/Victoria Street! There are many, many restaurants within walking distance, not to mention the castle and the Royal Mile. We walked everywhere. Inside, it was very clean and comfortable, and surprisingly quiet for how close it is to the tourist center. Fiona left some goodies for us in the kitchen and that was a lovely touch. The bed was comfy and the bathroom spacious. I would recommend this apartment to anyone coming to Edinburgh. It was absolutely wonderful.
Could not ask for a better location in all of Edinburgh as Grass Market is where you want to be. The Apartment itself as well as communication is as good as it gets, and we've rented several throughout Europe over the years. If you are looking for a full-size Apartment equipped with everything you need, look no further than less beautiful Apartment. We would rent it again in a heartbeat. The apartment is super cozy in an excellent location to let yourself immerse in Old Town Edinburgh. The kitchen is well equipped allowing cooking as it was your home away from home. My husband and I have stayed in this apartment three times already. Since we found it, we never searched for another place to stay in Edinburgh.

Fiona's flat was the perfect location for us to explore Edinburgh during our time there. It's literally directly off the Grassmarket at the foot of Victoria Street - plenty of shops and restaurants. Easy walking distance to popular locations in Old and New Town.
The flat was just as described and had all the amenities you'd need. While we didn't make use of the kitchen for cooking, having the kettle and french press available for coffee and tea was perfect. (Fiona, thank you for having tea bags, coffee and milk available for us, and for the delicious tea cakes as a treat!)
If we are ever back in the area, we would rebook this flat with Fiona in a heartbeat.
Quiet, Safe, Cozy, perfect location and wonderful welcome
After a crazy couple of flights to get to Edinburgh, Fiona's flat was such a welcome. We were wet and tired but upon entering, it was so clean, quiet, and warm. The card and treats that she left on the table were touching. The flat has everything you would need to cook a nice meal if you wanted to stay in. We cooked at least one meal a day. She had staples such as olive oil, milk, coffee, tea, sugar, salt and pepper. The grocery store was only a 7 min walk from the flat. Fiona always responded so quickly whenever we had questions leading up to our stay and during our stay.
Despite it being a few steps away from the busy Grassmarket, where the flat is situated guarantees privacy and tranquility both in the day and nighttime. We highly recommend Fiona's place and hope to return in the future.
