"We spent end of December through the New Year in Paris. Hotel was excellent for family and location was perfect for family travelers exploring Paris. Close to Metro and great local area and many shops and restaurants in walking distance. Rooms are a bit small but perfect for family that spends most of their time exploring the city and only needing the hotel room to sleep. Staff is extremely friendly and are willing to speak French if you would like but are fluent in English. I did not comment on the breakfast as we did not eat at the hotel but it was highly recommended by others."

"We had wonderful service from all of the staff at this hotel, from the time we checked into, until check out. The hotel was very clean, beautiful, food and drinks were all really good. The beds were comfortable. The location for 2 women travelling alone was very safe and in a great area to explore the city. Highly recommend."

"Our stay was beyond magical! The staff are fabulous and go above and beyond to be helpful and accommodating. We stayed in a Deluxe room which had the bedroom and bathroom upstairs and a living room and desk downstairs. The set up was perfect for having our breakfast delivered every morning and working at the desk. When we experienced jet lag in the middle of the night we were able to hang out down on the sofa without disturbing each other. The view of the room tops was gorgeous and we felt like we had our own Parisian flat. This hotel is beautifully decorated and situated right off the Place Des Vosges."

"We have been staying at Hotel Duo for about 20 years, every time we come to Paris. The staff is great. We've seen how the staff has improved over the years, and they're just the nicest people. Any issue that arose they addressed, or were able to offer a free breakfast for said inconvenience. A few years back an entrance for Hotel De Ville metro stop was opened just right outside the door--and it feels like your own private metro entrance. Location is great, right in the Marais and close to some of our fav shops. We are excited for their refurb coming next year, and hope that we will still be able to afford the hotel. "A well-run and maintained hotel in a great spot on the Left Bank. The staff were always very friendly and attentive. Our room (the small standard) was dinky, especially the bathroom, but not cramped - just usual for Paris. If you have access issues, it’s a good idea to check with the hotel beforehand. A great base for a few days. "

The location was excellent—close to everything you might need, including cafés, restaurants, bakeries, and supermarkets.
