Lots of easy buses and underground a block away. Pretty quiet too considering the location. We took the free tour of the city chambers across George Square this visit which was super interesting. "Amazing hotel. Everything was clean. The bed was so comfortable and the service was great! The only bummer was the impact of the construction on George Square. What would have been easy access to businesses in the City Centre was made slightly more difficult with the maze. But still 100% worth the price. "

"The Alamo Guest House offers ten rooms. It is small and that is its strength. The rooms are clean. The staff is extremely helpful. An excellent choice of cold and hot plates is offered for breakfast. There are a good choice of different restaurants near the Alamo. I highly recommend this hotel."

"The staff were very friendly and welcoming even though I checked in at 10pm. The bar is very nice and the Beef Burger with cheese and bacon was amazing. Nice room with a view. And the buffet breakfast was brilliant. Would highly recommend."
