"It was a bit of an adventure finding Hotel Pacifica after a long day of travel, given it is located on the far side of the river with no obvious way to cross, but after asking directions from another "gringo" we found our way across the foot bridge. The suite was fine for three adults although a bit sparse in terms of kitchen supplies. Good enough for a simple breakfast or lunch but cooking supper would've been difficult. "The property even though it’s old is maintained good the staff was very nice really like the food at la cevicheria it was awesome the head person very good the asian restaurant good but the worst was the buffet it’s very poor in food quality and is lacking on food choices breakfast was the same food every day dinner was worst only for this I would think on going back"

"The location of the resort was perfect, about a 5–10 minute walk to the Malecon that had a bunch of stores on the way and a market for souvenir shopping. The double bed room was perfect for two people and very spacious. Although we did not have a balcony or view of the ocean, the view out to the street was still nice just very noisy with all the cars driving by. The buffet had a wide variety of foods and was delicious, but the restaurant you had to make reservations for had a very selective menu that didn’t have many good options. There was an open area in the lobby with seating and a lobby bar to relax outside of your room. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and Puerto Vallarta is beautiful!"
