"Rented 2 bedroom delux with kitchen. Mattress was rock hard and 50 grit sheets and pillows. Clean. On check in was given minimal info and said I never been here please explain what happens in what place. Pool by lobby is outdated with rusty lifeguard chairs and stands. Indoor waterpark didn’t utilize as it was extra $40 per person but property was small. Close to Shenandoah which was nice."

"Our original reservation was cancelled last minute by the host, so I found this property as a backup. It was conveniently located close to Shenandoah National Park, which was our primary reason for visiting the area. The house was clean, and comfortable. The screen porch was just lovely for sitting out at night. We checked out the river but didn't swim. There is a nice place to make a fire. Overall, it was a really nice stay. My only issue was just a communication snafu. We hadn't received the entry code and were getting close to the property. I was not able to reach the hosts, so was getting nervous we'd get there and not get in. Fortunately, this was all resolved, but it did create some stress. Other than that, it was a really nice place to stay while visiting the park."

"This property is a gem! It is in a quiet location with pretty views and easy access to the surrounding areas. The home itself is spacious, comfortable, and very well appointed. Susan has thought of every little detail and has special touches throughout the home including the seasonal decorations, candy dishes, and the simple things like tissues. The kitchen is well stocked to prepare an easy meal. And the home is very clean. Highly recommend this property!"

"Overall excellent. We have nothing negative to say about the property. The home is absolutely beautiful. If there were one thing to mention, it would be that the outside bedroom shed does not have a bathroom. It makes giving up in the middle of the night and walking to the house a little disturbing. However, this was easily overlooked with the location in the home again being absolutely stunning."

"Wife and I and my crew chief stayed here overnight when I raced at nearby Shenandoah Speedway. The cottage is very clean and well appointed. When the only real complaint was no sugar for the coffee, when there was cream, you know it's OK. The towels were nice and fluffy and the cottage smelled clean, not like recent disinfectant. Hot water comes on quickly and the adjustable shower head worked well with no clogs. Only real issue was that our mattress was too soft for us. But my crew chief said his was pretty firm so maybe we just should have switched. Traffic was light at night and noise was not noticeable. Parking is limited so don't bring a bunch of vehicles, maybe 2 at most. We'll stay here again next time we're in the area."
