"She stayed at the Cosmopolitan as it was near the Palais Theatre. The room was nice and clean and the bed comfortable. The room was quiet even though it faved the main road. Extremely convenient to great bars and restaurants. Would stay again."
"This property smelt like mould, stains on carpet, mould in shower, water on floor near toilet with pieces of corn, curtains hanging of rails, kitchen cupboard doors hanging off hinges. Disgusting refused to stay"
"St Kilda East Backpackers. We walked in, not one to book us in, not that that mattered, we couldn't stay there. smelt like dead rats, worse than if you pictured a hovel. We rang the owner, and Wotif rang the owner. Both responses were if people want a clean place to stay, they should go somewhere else. I would be very surprised if Wotif allow this hostel to book through them ever again."

"The staff at Tolarno's are very pleasant, helpful and accommodating. The hotel is quirky and has been a part of the neighbourhood for decades. It is full of artwork and the downstairs restaurant - currently closed for renovations - will be a welcome re-addition when it eventually reopens. The property is within walking distance to the beach, eateries, venues. The tram stop is literally outside the door and a tram journey into Melb CBD takes approximately 15 minutes. The property, given its age, is not perfect, but is a local landmark and should be preserved as is."
"Lovely accommodation, was perfect for what we needed, very comfortable, aesthetic vibe and easy to get into.
Only point worth suggesting to the host for future bookings is more information on where we could park as the accommodation listed parking available, it would have been great to have some more information or suggestions on where to park as it was street parking and most parks within walking distance had unrealistic time limits for what our stay required. Not wanting to spend ages trolling the streets for parking and having a young baby with us, we kept having to move our cars to avoid fines. "
