I am always a bit leery of beautiful photos in listings because they can be taken from good angles that mislead you a bit. That couldn’t be further from the truth here. Everything about this property is as perfect as you see in the photos. We hiked local trails, we visited the lovely Kylemore Abbey (and don’t miss the gardens!), we ate at the Renvyle hotel, Veldon’s Seafarer...

"Enjoyed our time at the Tievemore house. Great view. Comfortable accommodations. Would recommend this highly. Ross beach was terrific bonus. There is BBQ grill left charcoal and lighter fo the next visitors. Confused about the recycling..Is glass handled separately? Think the Wi-Fi router needs replacing. Worked fine and then nothing. "We stayed for 3 weeks and loved every day of our visit. The house is comfortable and has everything anyone could need. The manager hosts are thoughtful and helpful. The view is of the magnificent Twelve Bens Mountains and wonderful baby lambs, and occasional Irish hares hopping around the stones. You will love it."

"Everything was perfect for us to enjoy the area and drive into clifden for restaurants and pubs for traditional Irish music. The road is a bit narrow towards the house the last bit but we did it slowly. We also enjoyed great meals at the nearby Connemara sands hotel just near the house."

"A really lovely, comfortable cottage. Spotlessly clean on arrival, great communication with a very helpful host, very well equipped kitchen and good WiFi. Great views across the bay from the deck, only 5 mins walk to an amazing beach that only ever had a few people on it. Lots to see and do nearby. Local shop has everything you need. The highlight was sitting on the deck watching a pod of dolphins feeding in the bay! Highly recommended."

"Sunnybank House is exactly as described. Highlights for our group of 18 family and relatives include: evening gatherings around the two peat-burining fireplaces with a variety of Irish Whiskeys; a very short walk to the pubs and restaraunts in Clifden, having a chef cook a delicious dinner in our own kitchen for all of us to enjoy, sightseeing all around Connemara; golf at the Connemara Links course just 15 minutes away; and wonderful pub visits out in the country...especially Paddy Coynes pub...

I was often re-reading the same page two or three times because I was either distracted by the scene outside or drifting off in the comfort of the lovely sunroom. Highly recommended."

"Lovely large house provides the perfect stay on beautiful Renvyle Peninsula. We are already planning a return trip to this great comfortable house situated on the coast with gorgeous views - a flock of sheep on the field next to the house provide non-aquatic pastoral views as well. The giant Aga stove made it fun to cook meals while within 15 minutes drive there are numerous great pubs and markets should you not want to cook! The house was fresh and clean with good wifi and an attentive...
