9/10 Wonderful! (387 reviews)
Room smelled strongly of a strange chemical floral smell. Had to keep the window open to try and air it out. No food available nearby. There is a mall within a short walk that offers a Greg’s and a McDonald’s. The hotel is not 4 stars. It is a bit rundown. The staff are nice and try to be helpful.

Unfortunately my allocated room was very close to a noisy generator/air conditioning unit which meant two nights of disturbed sleep.
The fridge in the room was not cold - query malfunctioning?.
Reported both issues to reception staff on departure - little concern shown or apology given.
Otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

"The hotel was lovely, the location was excellent. We had a view of the castle out of our window! We used the pool and it was clean and a nice temperature. The only issue we had was the heat. The hotel was incredibly hot, the windows were not easy to open and didnt open more than a couple of cms. ..."
