"Always like to stop at a Hard Rock however this was a first time at this hotel on Madrid. Location is everything when traveling & this property"s locale is not great. It was necessary to walk miles or get transportation to the happening areas. Hotel breakfast was OK but again property not near any other eating establishments."

"Very well located and helpful staff with nice cafe and cozy common spaces. The bed was clean. Shower and bathroom could've been cleaner but it's difficult with shared hostel rooms."

"The staff here was excellent, everyone was helpful and friendly, on the morning of checkout they prearranged a taxi to pick me up to take me to the train station. They answered all my inane questions with so much patience, it being my first time in Madrid, I had a lot of them! The hotel itself is in a great location right in Puerta del sol, and only steps to plaza mayor. Highly recommend for first time visitors to Madrid!"

"Hotel is dated but looks well maintained and seems to cater mainly for groups which is very apparent at breakfast times and reception area. Breakfast was plentiful with healthy options. Rooms are fine and clean. The biggest issue is a complete lack of any soundproofing between rooms & corridors, leading to very little sleep. I chose the hotel for the proximity to the train station as I was in Madrid only as a base for visiting other cities."

"Great location, walking distance to many cool places, staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were good $17 for breakfast was pricey compared to other options outside the hotel The bathroom in one of the rooms had a bad smell. The maintenance crew couldn’t make it go away. "
