"English pub in a quiet, but well connetted, area in Oxford. The room is nice, well equipped and with an en-suite, new bathroom. Great English breakfast served every morning and very helpful staff."
"Nice stay, easy onsite parking through remote gates leading to property. Good breakfast located a short stroll away at the show jumping club house. Peaceful setting. "
"A great hotel to stay at. Very quirky, friendly staff and good food. Very extensive drink selections ie cocktails and beers. Room we stayed in was roomy, very clean and facilities were excellent. Hotel conveniently placed via a short walk into city. "
"It's a clean, quiet and comfortable accommodation, literally at a stone's throw from the bus stop to reach the town centre. I dealt with the staff only via email, but they were very nice and helpful."

"Lovely, modern boutique hotel centrally located. Opted to include breakfast and it did not disappoint. Also some nice touches in the room such as complementary still and flavoured waters in the fridge and a large chocolate bar. Only drawback was the lack of parking. Nearest car park was 15 minutes away and about £40 for 24 hours of parking. The staff were helpful as they have to bring a trolley to the nearest area available to stop the car for loading our luggage. Also, I realized later we were supposed to enjoy the benefits of a VIP upgrade but we never received anything (and I booked two rooms) but I happen to overhear the couple in front of me who were given a free upgrade to a suite - so not sure what happened. Nonetheless it was a very nice hotel and I would stay there again. "
"Lovely stay thanks to wonderful staff, though not as quiet or restful as I would have liked.
Location is convenient for Oxford Brookes University and bus stops with routes into Oxford Centre.
On arrival, I found out breakfast is served between 8 and 10, so I would miss breakfast on the two mornings of my course, as I had to leave at 7:30 on Saturday and 7:45 on Sunday. For Saturday there was nothing to be done, but for Sunday the incredibly lovely and attentive staff made me an early packed breakfast + lunch (as an alternative to make up for missed breakfast on Saturday). I am so grateful for the staff's kindness and flexibility, arriving early on Sunday to make sure I was fed - this is why I'm rating with 5 stars.
I was only able to enjoy the delicious breakfast served on site on Monday - great variety and everything super tasty.
Room and bathroom was super clean, nicely decorated and with welcoming touches: complimentary still and sparkling water, coffee, and biscuits.
Mattress was uncomfortable, pillows were nice.
Important to know: the rooms are right above the pub and three of them (mine included) face the street. Windows are not double glazed, so it is quite noisy until 11 pm on Friday and Saturday (car noise from street, conversations, laughter, music, and doors slamming). Lack of double glazing also makes for draughty rooms, and for some cigarette smell to sneak in from outside."
"The hotel staff were very nice, the room was large and comfortable. My only complaint is the air conditioning was blasting and it was pretty chilly outside. When I asked to have the heat put on, it was for a few hours then went back to cold. My room on the ground floor look directly to the street so if you want to open your curtains, i recommend you ask for a room upstairs. "
"We stayed at The Randolph for three nights in September 2005. We had breakfast there three times and dinner once. The dinner was excellent and the service was superb and a tribute to the superb staff my wife and I cannot praise the food and service enough. The breakfasts were equally superb with a wide selection of breakfast food at the buffet. The room was excellent in every way and the position of the hotel for visiting the city centre and Colleges was spot on.
