AMAZING LOCATION!! SUPER CLEAN!! MODERN ROOM ALL AROUND I LOVED IT!! In Edinburgh this is the place to stay. The location was absolutely phenomenal and this suite was so modern it was absolutely phenomenal. I can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

Second stay for an overnight after a two day trip to the Highlands. This time on the second floor away from the first floor where the pub had loud music until the wee hours. Lift only part way up to second floor thus had to drag heavy bag up half a floor of step narrow steps. Ugg.
At 6:38 it sounded like a full-on (very loud) band practice in a nearby room. Thought they were Fringe performers. Turns out the shop owner below our room arrives each morning around 7:30 and full blast on whatever music maker he has. Lasted until around 7 when apparently he opens the cafe. Hotel staff said they had complained many times but owner ignored their complaint. Wow what an awakening. Location was good but very pricey for a 3 star hotel. BUT it was during the Tattoo and Fringe festival so that’s what it is. Loved Edinburgh itself.
