"Amazing 4 night stay. Location fantastic. Hotel room with a view over the mountains, amazing. Food first class, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner and couldn’t fault anything. Cheese fondue on our last evening on the terrace a real treat. Staff friendly, helpful. Only comment would be, but cheeky to charge extra for an omelette for breakfast and our car wasn’t outside at 8am despite as requesting the night before. We had to wait around 30 mins. Other than those two comments, would highly recommend staying!"

"The hotel staff was very helpful, especially Patrick! If you communicate, they will come get your luggage from the train station because the hotel is a bit uphill. The breakfast was very good. My only concerns, 1) we kept the windows open for the cool air to keep the temperature down and people would smoke outside their rooms or even the bottom floor and the smoke would come into our rooms. 2) being from America…we like things cold and we had to pay if we wanted more than 2 cups of ice. They explained they were under a heat wave and needed to conserve water. Overall, very nice, amazing views, helpful staff and a great place to stay."

"We liked the view from the Hotel and parking, the breakfast was very good. Kids bed was not very comfortable, but for small kids it would probably be better (my kids 17 & 13). Shower was good. Overall we stayed only one night."

"Very good location about 3-5 minute easy walk to the train. The hotel itself is very nice good furniture and decor and was clean. There is a water fountain in the lobby which was super convenient for filling our bottles for the day. The breakfast was good with many options and better than a standard hotel breakfast. Only downside was one night we heard people at the bar in the middle of the night from our room but that was only one night. Would stay here again."

"The Hotel Ermitage was great in every way. The hotel staff was exceptional. Everyone was incredibly pleasant, personable, and helpful. The quality of the accommodations was excellent; clean and well attended. The hotel is conveniently located across the street from the Oeschinensee Gondola and within walking distance of the town center. Very peaceful. Overall, it was a great experience."
