"This was an interesting hotel right in the heart of Cardiff. It was an easy walk to the Castle, multiple museums, and lots of restaurants and shops. It was clean. It was a good sized. The breakfast was outstanding - the best on our trip (and we had very good breakfasts at multiple hotels, so that's saying something). The hotel is a little confusing with a maze-like layout, but you get used to it. The only problem was the bed was very uncomfortable. It was the softest bed ever, and sagged in the middle. When we mentioned this when we checked out, they were incredibly sorry to hear about it, and wished we had said something sooner. I honestly think they were upset on our behalf and wished they had the chance to fix the problem. We just don't like complaining or whatever, so we didn't mention anything. Very happy overall."

"Really lovely hotel with nice decor. The bed was comfortable and it had the best blackout curtains ever, meaning we both had an amazing sleep. The huge spa bath was a real treat too. Constructive areas for improvement were that the shower gel and hand wash were both empty and had not been refilled, The lighting was very poor, meaning it was hard to do make-up and dry my hair for a night out. The tv was also broken and kept randomly turning itself off, which we reported as we left so hopefully it will be sorted. Thank you got a nice stay."
