You really can’t beat the location! The view from our room was like a fairy tale, with the duomo directly across the street and the artists selling their paintings outside. Andrea was an excellent host, very attentive and helpful, and even got us a coveted dinner reservation for Florentine steak. The room itself was just quintessentially Florence, with the fresco on the ceiling and lush furnishings. The only downside to the room was the bathroom with no ceiling - just not much privacy, so make sure you’re really comfortable with your traveling companion! We were provided a voucher for breakfast off-site, so the location for that was not the most convenient, and we never did use the voucher. I would stay here again though and recommend, because the location and the stay were really wonderful!

Andrea was the perfect host and made our stay exceptional! He was so helpful with our questions. He met us down the street from the hotel to guide us when we first arrived. The room was fabulous- literally across from the Duomo! Music would play at night at a nearby restaurant that added to the ambience of the room.

Absolutely recommend!

We loved our stay in this absolutely beautiful Inn. Everything was so pretty, our ceiling, our patio, everything was perfect. Andrea was very helpful, gave us so many recommendations and even gave us a gift in our room. We loved everything about our stay at Firenze al Duomo.

We stayed for a week in Florence and this was an excellent location. You are literally steps away from the Duomo. Our room was large and well kept. The bathroom was clean and modern. We had a room at the back with a private terrace in a courtyard. I overheard another guest complain that they wanted to face the duomo and were upset that their patio was in a shared courtyard. Facing the Duomo will be noisy. We loved our quiet clean room with a private patio where we enjoyed our coffee in the morning. I would stay here again in a heart beat. When you are booking your room make sure you know what makes you happy. The check in and check out were seamless. Great communication from the staff. The staff really wanted to make sure we had everything we needed and that we were enjoying our stay. Thanks to all the staff.

Location cannot be beat...across from the duomo effectively in the center of all city walking access to all sights...only disappointment was the breakfast techno music at 830am, dilute coffee soso assortment of pastries and fruit (the worst food we had on our 2 week trip)

Staying at BnB Al Duormo was an exquisite experience. First, the location is probably one of the best you would be able to find in the wonderful city of Florence. Just a few steps (yes!) from the magnificent Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore and its majestuous duomo, the batisteiro, all the magical museums and restaurants. If you are among the lucky persons being able to book there (there are only 5 rooms available!), you will find a clean, tidy and very comfortable accomodation that will make you feel at home in Florence. Finally, you will be hosted by a very friendly staff that will look after you and be able to help about what to visit and where to head out for a great dinner or lunch. Thank you again Andrea, Gracia, Lucia and the housekeeper for our great stay and lookinf after us. We will definitely stay with you again when we are back in Firenze!

We did a 17-day whirlwind tour of Europe, covering 4 countries and 7 cities. We stayed at some wonderful places. But Florence was our favorite, in no small part due to Firenza al Duomo. The location is unbeatable, directly across from the Duomo. You look out the window and, there it is. Walkable to all the historic landmarks. The building itself is a historic building. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, in fact. Yet it is beautifully updated with all the modern conveniences. But what really stands out is the staff. Andrea and his staff were wonderful. They were attentive and responsive to our every need and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. have a co-worker planning a trip to Florence and I told that they absolutely need to stay there! That you for a memorable visit!

MISREPRESENTATION

The lisiting on Hotels.com/Expedia is misleading. It fails to mention: 1. The B&B is on the first floor without an elevator. You have to carry your luggage up the stairs. If I had known this would not have booked this place. 2. The breakfast is not inhouse but you have to walk out of the B&B to a nearby cafe 3. The breakfast options are limited. You can either have a coffee or juice not both. If you want juice, you need to pay for your coffee and vice versa.There is no water. You have to buy. It was the worst breakfast I ever had. Have stayed at the smallest pensiones where the breakfast is better and more generous. This was a 350+ euro room per night. Simply ridiculous.

So the location of this property is top notch, and you realize you are basically in the center of everything. Every shop, restaurant, church, tattoo shop, cafe, whatever you want, you are in the center. The room was very nice and the water pressure in the shower was top notch. The only Issue we had was lack of air conditioning. They said because it was cold outside the air conditioner doesn’t work only the heater, which that made it a little rough to sleep because we sleep with cold AC is usually.
