ottima locations molto centrale ma lontana dal caos. Appartamento pulito. La vista un po’ da ricercare sporgendosi dalla finestra. Scadente la fornitura in cucina dove impossibile preprare pranzo o cena per mancanza di pentole ed accessori. Meno fortunati i nostri amici nella camera belvedere dove a parte l’assenza di vista si è’ aggiunta doccia senza vetro o ogni protezione e scarse stoviglie.il personale alla reception cordiale ma con orari molto limitati. Wi-Fi non funzionante , una volta notificato nulla è’ stato fatto per risolvere i problema.

Check in was confusing. The instruction should be clear that you are required to pick up keys on a different street that is walking distance from the apartment itself. That was a minor hiccup but not terrible to ruin our experience. Once we entered the room the VIEW is gorgeous and is also conveniently located near everything. Also, the WiFi was never able to connect to our phones and the property could not figure out the reason.

Check in was terrible. You need to call the hotel (roaming) in order to get the keys. Address is wrong and need to pick up the keys in an office nearby (yes, walking with the luggage in Florence streets). Even though the manager is helpful and friendly the process needs improvement. The view from the apartments is very nice and is also conveniently located near everything. AC was not working properly the first night. I sent an email (never replied) but they came to fix it next morning after a terrible night. Or maybe it was just too hot before we came in. Check out is at 10 am. They told us we could leave luggage somewhere (I didn’t understand where) and tried contacting them on the Expedia phone number that’s not working. So we had to carry our luggage all day before leaving to the airport.

Our place at The Florence View Apartments was great for our first visit to Italy. We spent 15 nights there, and it was terrific to have everything within walking distance. Monica was attentive and provided some wonderful tips and suggestions for making the most of our time there, from resturants to markets to museums. We had the room with a balcony, which was a must-have for me. The king-sized bed was comfy, the bath towels were plush, and we were able to use the washer/dryer...usually we dried our clothes on a rack on the balcony -- very traditionally Italian! We had just a few mosquitos, but not more than we'd expect, being right next to the Arno River. Screens on the windows would help, but on looking around Florence and surrounding towns, people don't seem to use window screens in Italy. Some people might think the wifi was a little slow, but we live in the country so are used to spotty or slow internet connections. The building itself feels super-safe with three codes needed to get into the rental hallway, and then of course a key to each appartment. If you are arriving from a long flight or have much luggage, you might consider taking a taxi from the airport (about 25-30 Euro). We took the shuttle bus from the airport to the Central Train Station (6 Euro each) and then walked with backpacks to-and-along the Arno River...it was a pretty hot day, and we were whipped once we finally checked in. Don't try to walk it with roller-suitcases...cobblestones are tough on those!

Once we were able to check in at 2pm, it went well. It was a hot day and we arrived at 1:40. We called and were given the code to the building so we could at least get out of the heat, which we were grateful for. The place is very secure with codes and keys to get to your room. Bus #23 stops right in front of the building, from the train station. We stayed in the Deluxe apartment, which was spacious and has the “classic European” feel. We had a fantastic view out the front and back of Piazza Michelangelo and the bell tower. There is one tiny community washer/dryer combo in a different room outside the apartments which we thankfully got to first since we were completely out of clean clothes. The dryer was not efficient at drying, on the express setting at least. There are racks you can take to your room for drying. Our only complaints: 1) You trade the amazing views for the street noise at night. Before going to bed it was amazing to hear the live music up on the hill. Not so much once you go to bed and it continues until midnight, as well as the sirens and anything else going on below you. 2) The windows only had sheer white curtains so all light pours in throughout the night. I felt like it was dawn every time I woke up during the night and saw how bright it was. If light and noise don’t bother you then neither if these will be an issue.

Perfect location

A big apartment in the perfect location is all you will need for a visit to Florence. The stone building is beautiful and the views of the South bank of the Arno are magnificent. The apartment has 2 floors and enough beds for 6. The kitchen has all you need for cooking and laundry services are available. The bathroom is big and fitted with a pedestal and bidet. Communication with the management team was simple and they responded quickly. I would not hesitate to come here again. The location is perfect: a 20 minute walk to the centre and 10 minutes from cafes for breakfast and a supermarket.

Nice place close to Florence center. Nice view facing the river. It was like staying in our own house at our own freedom. No one to come and police you. I will stay there if I go back 5*. We were late getting to the hotel but they e-mail the password and the instructions to get in. It was not a problem at all. There are two entrance one facing the road one facing the alley. We were trying to get to the taxi and waited in front of the front door. The building manager and a skinny dumb woman came and yell at all of us like we did a criminal act. This has nothing to do with the hotel. I did not know enough Italian to tell her to go get a ****$.

Ho soggiornato 3 giorni nell’appartamento di buone condizioni... anche se alcune cose erano mancanti e utili. Nella cucina non vi erano panni per asciugare le mani e i piatti usati per la colazione e non vi erano le tovagliette per la cucina. Nel bagno non vi era a sufficienza sapone per lavarsi in 4 In salone mancava un oscurante perché era rotto e le persiane che bisognava aprire per far entrare un po’ di luce era sporchissime. Non c’è stata rilasciata nessuna cartina della città come era stato detto. Nell’insieme discreto. Abbiamo fatto questa esperienza non so se ripeterei ....
