It was a lovely apartment with tons of room. The location was fantastic… A bit off the beaten path of all the tourists, but close to everything. The property manager met us, and he was very nice. The only negative… It would’ve been nice if there was some coffee and spices (salt & pepper).
This apartment is beautiful and is in a great location. If you would like to walk, you could walk to most attractions. We loved that we could walk to the city center with ease. There are a few stairs you need to go up to get to the apartment however it is not a big issue. We loved our stay!
The place was great for our extended family (2 kids, 4 adults).
The location is a short walk to many of the city’s attractions, and the option to stay in and cook and eat together at the apartment was great.
The apartment was clean and spacious, and the management was easy to communicate with, but checking in with a lock box would be an easier process. Because our flight was late, we had to pay extra to have management meet us with keys to check in. We had to buy paper towels for the kitchen, because there were no dish towels. One of the upstairs air conditioners didn't blow cold air. The master shower didn't have a good seal and water from the shower pooled on the bathroom floor requiring several towels to soak it up.
Modern, clean apartment. Close location to attractions.
Great apartment, clean and spacious. Plenty of room for five of us to stay! Location was perfect, 15-20 minute walks to main attractions. There are three flights of steps to get up to apartment but it was great exercise each day! Eduardo and staff were great to work with. Hope to be able to stay again one day!
LISTING REPORTS FIRST FLOOR LOCATION. NOT TRUE. 60 STEPS TO 3RD FLOOR LOCATION. No lift or elevator. well maintained. very low ceilings in 2 loft type bedrooms. otherwise very nice.

Overall review
The good: the property is well located, with an easy walk to main Florence attractions.
Areas of improvement: both showers leak very bad, attention to this is important, some instructions about using the stove top would be good. Also, make sure that at least some accessories are provided for the kitchen, like towels, dishwasher soap. Lastly, instructions on using the heating/cooling systems would be beneficial since the main heating system doesn’t seem to work. Also, instructions on how to use the system to allow others to request entrance at the front door.
Dishonest Property Description run by a Dishonest Italian Mafia Businessman who steal your money
This property has a dishonest description run by a dishonest property manager.
Problem #1 - Fraudulent Description:
This apt takes 63 long steps to reach, but they claim to be on the 2nd floor. A complete lie.
Problem #2 - Misleading Pictures:
The apt has a filthy stairway to reach it and the dishonest Mafia property manager (Edoardo Matuccu or Edoardo Matucci) intentionally shows no pictures of the hallway..
Problem #3 - Fraudulent Description:
This apt claims to have high speed internet, but it has an old DSL modem with ZERO Wi-Fi upload speed. I tested the Wi-Fi speed several times and it is impossible to use for only work or zoom calls. The dishonest Mafia property manager (Edoardo Matuccu or Edoardo Matucci) is responsible for this mediocrity.
Problem 4 - Fraudulent Description:
The walls are thick stone and there is no cellular internet speed. You cannot use your phone to tether internet there.
Problem 5 - Dishonest Property Manager:
This apt is managed by dishonest Italian Mafia business man who ignores complaints from customers and VRBO and refuses to refund reservations under any circumstance.
His name is:
Edoardo Matuccu or Edoardo Matucci
CEO of Homes in Florence, Tuscan Villas, Homes in Florence Real Estate. Homes in Florence srl. Firenze, Toscana, Italia.
Problem 6 - Misleading Property Description, No Refunds, Only Garbage Old Alternative Apts Offered.
If you are mislead by this apt … Edoardo Matuccu will never refund your money and instead offer you an old dingy garbage Florence apt to stay in.
Conclusion:
Stay away. Edoardo Matuccu or Edoardo Matucci is a dishonest Italian mafia property manager.
