"Book this property! We spent 4 nights in July in a suite and it was a wonderful experience. Set in a quiet piazza, the hotel is an 8 minute walk to the Duomo, however the Duomo is immediately in view within steps of the hotel’s entrance. The Accademia is super close as is a small grocery store for extra waters, wine, etc. There is also a wine window on the walk to the Duomo. Lots of restaurants as well. Our room was stunning, with 2 floors, 2 separate sleeping areas, 2 bathrooms, equipped with full amenities. Excellent, cold air conditioning! Great water pressure, too! Traveling with 2 teenage daughters, it was perfect. Welcome cantucci and a bottle of vin santo were waiting for us in the room as were bottles of water. The in-room espresso machine was great for early mornings. The staff delivered an iron and ironing board to our room moments after I called. The hotel breakfast was great, but what we really appreciated was the ice cold water in the lobby after a long day of touring in the sun. I would recommend this property to anyone - I cannot say enough good things about it!"

"Here’s a polished review you could post: We had a fantastic stay at Forte16. The staff were absolutely exceptional throughout our visit – welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help with anything we needed. The parking experience was excellent and made arriving and exploring Florence by car completely stress-free, which is a real bonus. Our room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable, and the facilities were excellent. We especially enjoyed the pool, which was a great place to relax after a busy day sightseeing. Overall, a wonderful hotel with outstanding service. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend Forte16 to anyone visiting Florence."

"My wife broke her leg in Florence and was put into a cast by the hospital. The staff at this hotel was so helpful, trying to attend to her needs. They even gave us an additional room for free for my wife since our room did not have lift access, so we then occupied two rooms for the remainder of our stay (cut short, as we needed to go home early) I have to commend the compassion of each individual hotel staff member."

"Cute, artsy boutique hotel in a quiet part of town, close to groceries and a few great restaurants. The bus stop is pretty much right outside the door, and the tram to the center and airport also just a few blocks away. Our room was spacious and clean, the AC worked well. The king size bed and sofa/twin bed was perfect for a couple and 12-year-old. The bathroom and shower in particular are a bit small, but perfectly fine. Good water pressure, and my husband loved the bidet! We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast with indoor and outdoor patio seating. The staff was helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!"
