Top Fortezza da Basso Hotel Reviews

Hotel Machiavelli Palace

Hotel Machiavelli Palace

8/10 Good
"I booked a one night stay and was pleased with the hotel and its location. The breakfast was sufficient, I especially liked the plain yogurt, although the coffee from the machine was nothing special. Kinda ick if you choose a cappuccino. The hotel is a short walk from the train station which is good when carrying luggage although Google maps had me going all kinds of ways before I figured out which way to go. The hotel rooftop terrace has a panoramic view of the city. This is a big plus for the hotel. The only downside was the minuscule shower. It was a challenge to figure out how to get clean - and the water is either freezing or scalding hot. I could not get the temperature right - so it was a quick in and out."
