"I would actually give this a 4.5. It was great, but not perfect. It did fit our needs well. The indoor pool is actually great. My problem with indoor pools is ventilation - I hate the smell of chlorine in the air. They have done a decent job ventilating the spa area. They have put effort into aesthetics, and it really helps. The mood is relaxing (though there are plenty of families - but the kids seem to get that it is a tranquil environment. The room is nice. The area is convenient - it is out of the primary tourist area. You can go across the main boulevard and be right in the thick of the tourist sites, or you can go into the area behind the hotel, where locals live. I love this access to both. We went to a wonderful grocery store around the corner and bought wine, cheese, salami, etc. and had a picnic on the terrace. The hotel has some really nice outdoor, common space, on the top floor. The views are nice and it is well appointed with comfortable seating. The days in Florence were hot, when we were there - in the 90s and we loved coming back to the spa to unwind. I would stay there again."

"The room was a quiet and comfortable oasis in the heart of Florence. A little outside the historic area, but the taxi service was quick and efficient. It took about 10 minutes from the train station to get there, and there are quaint and delicious cafes and restaurants in the area. The gentleman behind the front counter was friendly, spoke good English, and was very helpful. He even called a taxi for us when the local taxi app wasn't working for us. at the time. A very enjoyable stay."

"The B&B is very well located very close to the city center (Duomo). Room is with modernized amenities, very nice shower and bathroom. Very comfy space and everything is super clean. The people we interacted with either on line or at the room were really nice with us. The person that cleans the room helped us get a Taxi to the airport, as our phone was having issues to connect locally. This is a perfect place to stay if you want to visit Florence. Just make sure you read the instructions and get your room code before arriving to the building. The only funny thing is that is a B&B ( bed and breakfast) with no breakfast. But there are plenty of places for a nice coffee and pastries in the area."

"This was adequate for our last one-night hotel stay in Italy, but the hotel was hard to find, requiring a very discomfiting drive down narrow one-way streets with graffiti on walls and gates. The room’s a/c didn’t work, and we couldn’t open windows because of noise and absent screens. Both my husband and I fell on the step in the middle of the bathroom. Staff was attentive, and maybe we could have gotten a different room, but we were too tired and stressed to bother."
