About this property
WONDERFUL VIEW San Frediano - Carmine
In the heart of Florence, in the typical district of San Frediano dell'Oltrarno, the perfect apartment to make your holiday unforgettable, immersed in the history and magic of the city, cradle of the Renaissance.
The view of the majestic Basilica of Santa Maria del Carmine, the precious wooden ceilings and the refined and elegant furnishings will accompany you on your journey through time, immersed in the incomparable beauty of our city.
The apartment, bright and renovated in 2018, is located on the first floor of an ancient building. From here you can easily reach all points of interest in the city: Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti, Piazza del Duomo, Santa Croce, Santa Maria Novella and many others, in less than 5-10 minutes on foot. The railway station is also at the same distance, while the airport can be reached by taxi or shuttle bus in about 20 minutes
The 70 m2 house is furnished with taste and refinement, with new and antique furniture, and consists of a fully equipped kitchen, living room with sofa bed and 49" smart TV, a bedroom with double bed and another bedroom with double bed and a single one.

The elegant, comfortable and functional bathroom is equipped with a shower with window and everything necessary.
A useful utility room with washer dryer, Dyson vacuum cleaner.
All the rooms are equipped with everything you need to make your holiday pleasant and not miss anything.
Independent heating and air conditioning, free wifi.
Watch you tube: a day in my life as an art student in florence by moya mawhinner, a well-known influencer was my guest.
You will find me available for any problem or need that may arise.
Excluded from the price: Tourist tax of €5.50 per person for the first 7 nights of stay.
Neighborhood information: Oltrarno' means 'beyond the Arno' and this area extends along the south bank of the river. The Oltrarno represents the true essence of Florence: a quiet, green and therefore more relaxing area than the others. For this reason, many tourists appreciate it more and more. This area is also known as the handicraft district, famous for its delightful workshops, small shops and artisans' studios (in particular antique dealers and leather goods dealers): via Maggio represents the center of Florentine antiques. From a rural centre, in the past centuries the Oltrarno became a chic district where many aristocrats built their palaces and villas. The largest of these is undoubtedly Palazzo Pitti, former residence of the Grand Duke of Tuscany. Nowadays Palazzo Pitti hosts many exhibitions and museums, among the most important in the city. Other important attractions of the Oltrarno are the Brancacci Chapel with its magnificent frescoes by Masaccio, Masolino and Filippino Lippi, the Piazzale Michelangelo with its breathtaking panorama of Florence, the magnificent church of San Miniato (one of the highest points of the city and the best example of Romanesque art in Tuscany) and the Ponte Vecchio which houses countless jewelers and goldsmiths. Inside Palazzo Pitti is the wonderful Boboli Gardens, an open-air museum of sculptures, some dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries. Finally, the Oltrarno is also famous for the market in Piazza Santo Spirito (set up every morning), its cafés and wine bars (Olio & Convivium, Bene Vobis, Caffè degli Artigiani . . .) and the trattorias offering Tuscan cuisine ( Holy Drinker, The 4 Lions, Osteria del Boar Bianco, The Warehouse . . .). Those who choose this area will find a wide range of food shops, patisseries, bakers and much more.
Parking: the apartment is located within the ZTL area, the entire historic center of Florence is a restricted traffic area and therefore there are special rules and times for accessing or parking there.
Public transport: the area is easily reachable from the Santa Maria Novella central railway station with bus lines 37, 6 and D.
