"The carpet here was so filthy that you could not take your shoes off without your socks turning black immediately. It seriously needs to be replaced, as do the bathroom rugs & many other items in the house. 2 of the beds were comfortable, but the third bedroom had two cots that must have come from the dollar store, so the 4th person in our group slept on a couch. One of the king beds just had a fitted sheet, so we had to wash the comforter to have something clean to cover us. The next day, I did notify the owner about the missing sheet & they sent someone over with one. There was just a couple of wall hangings, so the atmosphere was definitely not "homey" feeling. Many of the dishes, especially the glasses, looked dirty, so we washed everything before we used them. The glasses mever seemed to get clean (water softener, maybe?) We had two coffee cups for 4 people, just enough silverware for two people, four plates total & not much else. I contacted the owner/manager & they did send a few coffee cups & some silverware over. There was just a one-cup coffee maker for all four of us. I did ask about a bigger one, but was told that it was the only one available. It was a very quiet neighborhood, but due to the rain and wind when we were there, two of the three bedroom windows had something clanging at them all night. There were no bedside lamps; very disappointing. The owner/manager needs to stay there for a few days to get a feel for the many upgrades this residence badly needs!"

"This is our second stay at Welcome House and again, everything was fantastic. Very clean, loads of room, loved the games, quiet neighborhood, and everything we needed for comfort. The host, Shirl, is very attentive and truly cares that her guests have an enjoyable stay.We also love the location…convenient to stores, restaurants , parks, and most importantly our grandkids!We will definitely stay at Welcome House again when we visit our Vegas grandchildren!"
