Great location… close to the beach, walking distance to the little town. Place is sub level, it is small but very clean. Host used the space wisely. The little sitting area outside makes it feel like your ground level. My only suggestion is more towels, we only had three for the 4 day stay but other than that … great little place

Our Favorite Spot

This was our second time staying, and I can say we will certainly be staying again! Great location, perfect for two people. The apartment was clean with some basic kitchen and bath items provided. The lawn is well kept, and we loved the renovations since our last stay in 2021. Be sure to write something in the book when you visit!

This is our 2nd stay at this place. We absolutely love the convenience of being across the street from beach access and the place is super cute. A nice walk to the shops and restaurants provides some exercise and never having to move our car once we arrive. We plan to visit annually.

Cute, clean and well equipped Folly apartment. Right across from the beach. Easy walk to Bert’s Market for drinks and food. Would highly recommend! Best part was the covered front porch. Perfect place to unwind after the day and listen to the ocean.

This is such a nice, clean, well located home. Deb and her husband are such great innkeepers. We have visited on a number of dates at various times during the year and the home is always pristine, improved, etc. It’s SUPER convenient to the beach it’s like oceanfront.

This is as advertised. A small lower level apartment that is perfect for two people. While you cannot see the ocean from the porch, the beach is a one minute walk. This rental suited our needs perfectly as we use our accomodations to suit our activities, not the other way around.

My wife and I stayed here for our 6th Anniversary and we had a great time! Right across from beach access and walking distance to pretty much everything! We only drove to dinner once because my wife was in heels lol. The place was clean and perfect size for the 2 of us. When it was quiet at night, we could hear the waves crashing with the window open!

Smoky and mildew smell

This has a great beach location. The apartment is literally in the basement. The floors are painted cement. The hosts definitely tried to make it look nice. However, the floor in the bathroom is mildewy. Unfortunately, the apartment also smelled of smoke. The host offered for us to leave if we wanted - we had no place else to go for our vacation and the host offered a spray odor block. If you can handle the smokey smell and you don't need to spend time in the apartment, it's fine. We loved visiting Charleston and spent some time on the beach as well.

This property is misrepresented, it is not an apartment, it is half a basement that was musty, floors were painted peeling concrete floors, only windows were in two doors, what rugs there were, were stained and dirty. Bed cover was faded and not clean. Unit is across the street from beach with no view of the water with another house and trees in way. WE DID NOT STAY IN IT, WE LEFT AND GOT A NICE HOTEL FOR LESS MONEY. FIGHTING WITH OWNER OVER REFUND. i WILL NEVER RECCOMMEND THIS LISTING TO ANYONE.
