"Great people and a perfect room. Good location for visiting many places in Dorset. The inn is an old thatched building with a decent beer garden and covered outdoor eating. The food is very good pub fayre and there are interesting specials. On Friday and Saturday delicious pizzas are also served, cooked in the outdoor wood fired pizza oven Breakfast is included with the room and there are a good variety of choices with quality ingredients. A great find that we will revisit if ever on holiday...

"I really cannot accurately review this hotel as I had a fall shortly after checking in and ended up in Salisbury A&E for over 4 hours being stitched. I missed dinner in the restaurant and only slept in the bed for a few hours before having to check out. The room was lovely, although dodgey phone service & internet."

"This was a very pleasant stay in a great location, ideal for where we were travelling. I had read some iffy reviews but happy to report that we need not have worried. The room was clean, the shower had been recently upgraded and the breakfast was excellent with a variety of choice. The manager of the coffee shop was very helpful and friendly as were the reception staff. There was also a nice woodland walk. We will definitely stay there again should we be travelling to that area for a long...
