"•No towels in the room upon checking in- after calling, they delivered them in a plastic bag hanging on the door, as I was out for dinner. •I found two dried up pieces of jalapeño on the carpet. •coffee pods only- no tea bags… •The shower was cold and the shower fixtures difficult to work, as to whether you were turning it to hot or cold, rain shower head just dribbled water- a very chilly shower, not very pleasant. • The tv volume was locked at a very low volume. • The decor was pleasant , the location central to the shops and restaurants, easily walkable , the a/c worked very well, and the bed was comfortable with nice pillows. •The price was a little high for what you get, but I might try it again another time • Appalachicola is a wonderful little town with great history, and friendly locals. Better to stay here than St. George Island."

"We were there for only 1 night but the accommodations suited us and our dogs (dog friendly). The location was perfect, within walking distance to the beach, the light house and places to eat. Pool near the beach was nice too. The room was clean and the bed was soft. And watching the sun rise from the property made it a litl’ extra special. Diane and Forest were very kind and they made the check in process easy."

"If you’re looking for a great space for a large group this is perfect. Great location. Elevator didn’t work which was not ideal and the stairs are very steep so beware. Overall, we had a good time."
