"Wonderful stay in the heart of Dubrovnik Old Town! Our host, Romana, greeted us upon arrival and was very communicative and extremely helpful, assisting us with lots of great suggestions for things to do and places to eat, and helping us figure out how to get to the airport by bus. Despite being inside the Old Town city walls, it was very quiet at night and the location was highly convenient for bathroom stops and clothing changes between activities. The room was small, but very well equipped with everything we needed, including clotheslines outside the windows for hanging hand-washed clothes. The a/c was blissful, as it was unseasonably hot during our stay. It is an easy walk to just about anywhere in the Old Town, and we enjoyed many amazing meals—try Dolce Vita for delicious gelato and crêpes, Buzz Bar for a relaxed, casual drink, Mlinar bakery for an incredible selection of different burek, and Local for a one-of-a-kind Croatian culinary experience. We loved Dubrovnik and will be back! And we’ll stay at Villa Sigurata II again without hesitation."
