Charming hotel in a beautiful location.
Quaint from the outside, charming and modern from the inside. Wonderful family run hotel that made you feel welcome from the moment you walked in the door. Despite being located next to the autostrada, the hotel was quiet. Next door was a great brewery/restaurant. We look forward to staying sgain.

Great host, great food, great location, great rooms! See the full review on google maps by Hewey H On arrival we were warmly greeted by Peter, check in was smooth with a nice welcome gift of fruit and biscuits in this most comfortable accomodation. The hotel is beautiful and Open throughout the winter months and each weekend throughout the year in between. The room had two separate rooms with comfortable large double beds and warm heating to make it cosy. The restaurant downstairs served ample breakfast consisting of a broad selection of breads, pastries, fresh fruits, meats and cheeses to feed you for a day in the mountains only 12mins drive to Vipiteno. Although served as an open buffet it doesn’t give that feel of a buffet with all fresh ingredients and very helpful and friendly staff (including Peter) to help you out where you need. The hotel itself has an elevator for easy access and stairs should you need to work off the great Austrian/Italian food and wine you’ll enjoy in the region with ample parking for your car. Although it is close to autobahn on the map it is quiet and comfortable with no traffic noise whatsoever. I would highly recommend this hotel to couples and families coming to the area given its comfort and size of the rooms available plus being a good distance to skiing and attractions both to Vipiteno and fortezza directions. A massive thank you to Peter and the team there to make our stay as comfortable, easy and welcoming.

Amazing place !! I will say luxury hotel with luxury services and breakfast!! Very clean and fashionable ❤️ Breakfast have a lot of options on meats, fruits, cereal, cheese, yogurt, smoothies, coffee Maschine with all options u want, tea and even seeds for salat!! Impressed with that place ! For sure coming back !

What a find - bit of traffic noise to front and rear but very acceptable , hotel was amazing start to finish and owner / host was really welcoming professional and courteous , fantastic restaurant right next door , we had the burgers and they were so tasty and beer was good too - actually hard to give a review as almost don’t want anyone else to stay here , if u are passing this way do not hesitate to stay at hotel saschenklemme

Beautiful grand buildings. Historic battle took place in the 1840's to banish the french army from the Tyrol at the site of the hotel. The battle suitabley commemorated at a small church and war memorial at the side of the hotel. Lady owner provided an outstanding breakfast. She also runs the adjacent popula, top quality, but not expensive restaurant / pizzarea. And to complete the wonderful faciities they operate their own brewery in full view in the restaurant.

Stayed for only one night while on route to salzburg from Milan. Very clean and big room and lots of free parking. Beautiful area around the hotel. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was bit limited but enough to start the day.

Gem of a hotel! Looks like a little Castle!
We drove from Munich to Florence and wanted a hotel that was approx a three hour drive away, and passed the Brenner Pass. this hotel was Perfect! Easy to get to from the highway. Looks like a little Castle. Newly renovated, Bavarian feel, with the added plus of a Beer brewery and restaurant adjacent to the hotel. Breakfast was included and felt special...table was reserved for us and breakfast was served. Loved this gem of a hotel, and would definitely recommend it.

Nice hotel in Fortezza
This hotel room was amazing. The view from the bedroom window at night was incredible, full moon and all. The balcony in the bathroom was a plus. Breakfast was very good too, we were very pleased with our stay. The only downside was the recommended restaurant next door, which might be part of the same company, the food was hugely overpriced for what it was and certainly not worth it.

Verona to Munich, perfect hotel with a great view!
1. The hotel is located in an awesome location, between the mountains and the beauty that comes with it. The highway is not far from the hotel. 2. The staff is super friendly and answer all your questions with no hesitations. 3. The restaurant is phenomenal with a great choice of food. We had a steak, pizza and salad with the beer that is made by the owner/founder of the hotel and the restaurant. The food was A+++ 4. The breakfast was good as well, we had our seats reserved for us which made us feel more special and welcomed. 5. We would recommend this hotel to anyone who loves the nature, friendly staff and great food.

Lovely relaxing and romantic stay!
A fabulous hotel with a difference. You will need a car to travel around the area, but it's in an old part of a lovely tiny village. The restaurant next door is fantastic, the pizza's and desserts especially! We had a brilliant stay and managed to visit much of the surrounding area, including some fantastic lakes, the town of Vipiteno and some great hiking, so it really is a great base. Would recommend!

We stayed only for one night. We were very impressed by the rooms size. The staff was very polite and helpful. We had dinner on the restaurant and we found the food and drinks very nice. We will go back again.

The hotel position do not offer you a special view, room are spacious and clean. Wifi signal is a joke unless you are on the 1st floor and if you want to charge your electronics you need to pull out a lamp from the sockets. The heat room do not work in August, the owner will tell you it is hot outside(acording to her standard), The breakfast it is not a buffet, and the food and drink quantity they bring to you it is very subjective, we were 6 person but we paid for 2 room with 4 persons each, we sau in the breakfast room that they bring you a bottle of juice, dasn' count if you are 2,4 or 6 persons like in our case, something it is just not right with the breackfast quantity, apart you need to bee in breackfasr room between 7:30 to 9:30. The best part of the hotel it is the restaurant where you can eat and drink really good for a decent price and the weithers are much nicer than the hotel staff, they spoke italian too. The hotel have a nice children play zone. The restaurant it is the caddilac of the hotel, it have to bars, one inside and the other oane is outside, in the internal bar you can smoke. As I told you the food in the restaurant is excelent The chek out time it is 10:30AM. If you need a not cheep hotel fo a night I will recommend this hotel, despite there coold attitude.

Comfortable overnight stop
Fabulous building, an old "Austrian style" fort with bright red and white shutters. We arrived late on our way to Austria from Italy. Check in was quick and efficient and we went to the adjoining restaurant for dinner. This was really good. There is an in-house bio-brewery on site, and although we are not beer drinkers, the Bieramisu and Bierleys were very good! Hotel is close to the road, but we were not disturbed at all. The decor is modern with comfortable beds and a lovely, clean bathroom! Breakfast was in the bar and varied. Good coffee and rolls! Would definitely stay again as it is convenient for travel between Austria and Italy and would recommend this hotel to others.

Our venture to South Tyrol
IF ever we are to be in South Tyrol, we will stay at the Sachsenklemme Hotel. The experience was so positive. You are in a castle with a spacious room that is exceptionally clean and ready for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant next door was outstanding (even with its own brewery). Fun activities for kids to do outside. The staff were always there to help.

Family of five on a leisure trip. The room rate include breakfast. Great service, friendly staff, clean place, and located in a nice area in northern Italy. Delicious food at the restaurant next door (their pizzas are the best!) and breakfast in the hotel had a nice variety of options.

Drive to it from Bolzano via the E45 (boring) or get there from Merano via the SS44 like we did (NOT boring). Great renovation, next door brewery / restaurant, would stay again if in the area.

Very nice hotel in Italy near Austrian border. Theme is very much German / Austrian. Beautiful mountains and rolling foothills. The hotel is very clean and nice both inside and out. The breakfast was very well done and the service was great - they even had our name at a table all ready for us when we came to the dining room for breakfast. Nice personal touch. This great breakfast was included in the already low overnight rate. Noticed trampoline outside for kids.

Charming hotel in Italy near the Brenner Pass
My family and I have been pleased to stay at the SachsenKlemme hotel at least 3 times - - with one more stay coming up in less than a month. Each stay has been characterized by its pleasant, relaxing, and charming atmosphere. The restaurant is just next door, therefore convenient - - and the food is excellent. Their wonderful and abundant breakfast is also a plus!

Ideal stopover
We stayed at Sachsenklemme for just one night to break up the trip from southern Germany to Venice. It's a great place for both parent end children. The hotel is situated very close to the main highway. The kids got to run rand in the playground and had fun with the zip wire and tramopoline. The grown ups enjoyed the beer garden and the great food. The hotel is surrounded by high mountains. The only drawback is the constant noise from the highway.
