The Asian man who worked the reception desk was very accommodating and helpful. The heat was not working properly in my room and he took care of the problem immediately. The man who fixed the heater and cleaned the rooms was very courteous. This hotel is an older hotel but I appreciated that is was small and quiet. I would stay here again!

Everything except for the safe worked, the price was low, and the location was excellent. But the safe didn't work, the toilet lid would come off unless I held it down with one hand while flushing with the other, and the shower cycled between just right, cold, and scalding much faster and less predictably than any other tankless shower I've ever used. All in all, it was okay.

The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was outdated and definitely needed and upgrade (especially the toilet) and the bed mattress were not comfortable (too soft).

Great location, awful service
Had no check-in details. Door said that they were open for check-in until 22:00, but there was no one on site. There was no phone available, and I had to use my phone to call internationally to receive our check in code details.

Convenient location, hotel is old but room is reasonable clean. Parking in front of hotel is free but difficult to get! Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Lovely little hotel
Lovely hotel in the middle of Sachsenhausen, within walking distance of the main attractions. Hotel was clean, reception staff friendly & helpful and in a quiet location.

The furnishings are old enough that they're becoming retro, but the room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast buffet is top, huge selection. Great location across the river from downtown but really close to nightlife and a short walk to the cathedral. Great value for the price. I'll stay again next time I'm in FRA.

Very helpful staff, which is extremely important when you are in a country we you don’t speak the language. The hotel is ver close to the amazing Christmas markets. The markets are only about a10 minute walk and it is a very pretty area that you walk through. Hotel is spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable.

Clean, amazing shower. Had to wait 3 days for an extra pillow. 4 light switches where one would do. One located in the bed. Traditional German toilet, not our style. Breakfast ok but bread rolls not the freshest. Good location. One very nice receptionist.

Very good and clean hotel in quiet area. About 20 minutes walk to city centre and 2 minutes walk to tram and metro station. Hotel provides free breakfast as well.

Easily reachable from city centre by tram or S-Bahn. Close the river and close to the evening 'entertainment' area. (It is noisy at the weekends). Rooms a bit small but satisfactory.

Handy to old town and museums.
This hotel was a nightmare to get too due to traffic. When we finally got there we couldn't find parking,.... anywhere. We drove around aimlessly trying to find somewhere to park so we could check in at least. After about the third pass of the hotel we spotted a hotel parking sign in this little narrow driveway in the one way lane. We drove in and found a space for our car in the 7 available, and after the 15 point turn we wiggled the Ford Focus in. Don't know what we would have done if there want one available. Lucky for us the hotel was excellent. We met Herr Frank who checked us in, and he was the nicest guy you would ever meet. He gave us some great advice on what to see and how to get there. The location want to bad either, right by the river and walking distance from the old town and museums. There were plenty of great eateries around. We found a great little restaurant just a few doors down from the hotel as you approach the river. The owner couldn't speak either English or German, but was so nice. Turned out to be a Syrian restaurant. The food was excellent and very generous plus cheap. The hotel room was very clean and well presented plus comfortable. Breakfast was nice as well and not too expensive. I would probably stay here again. The hotel was excellent, but the parking very ordinary.

It was a last minute booking as usual to my frequent unplanned trips, the hotel is ok , I had a serious problem that shouldn’t be a thing , my international plug converter broke in my bag and the hotel didn’t have anything to help me charge my phone which I use to navigate through the city and to the airport it was really stressful and scary leaving to the airport with a battery under 10%

I didnt even stay, i got there and saw rhe location and condition of the place and requested a refund for the room. Expedia customer service has been trying to contact the faculity for rwo days and still no word on my refund. The neighborhood stunk, i didnt even want to get out of the car.

Excellent hotel - however my room on the 6th floor was very small. I kept hitting my head off of the sloping roof which took up 1/3 of my bedroom.

Cheap, and straightforward but beware of bad WiFi
You get what you pay for the most part. Room is tiny but clean. Excellent location, walkable to most attractions and the metro. Would receive a higher rating but for the WiFi, which did not entirely reach our 5th floor room and was both extremely slow and disconnected frequently - quite frustrating when trying to research the rest of your trip.

No-frills hotel in lively Sachsenhausen
We reserved a queen-bed room, which was a mistake. The bed had one side pushed against the wall, so the occupant on that side had to crab-walk out the bottom of the bed. We later saw some rooms with two single beds, and the layout looked much better. There is a Rewe Supermarket/bakery 5 minutes south on Dreiechtstrasse, and another coffee shop next to the hotel. We didn't try the hotel breakfast. There are tons of restaurants and bars in the area walkable from the hotel. A streetcar line runs outside the hotel, and connects to all public transit. There is no air conditioningand no screens on the windows, but we were cool enough in mid-May

Excellent location, safe neighborhood, easy to navigate around on foot. Many pubs, restaurants and markets near by. Easy walk to south trainstation or lokal bahnhoff. Hotel is basic with overpriced breakfast. Small rooms.

I've travelled far and wide. Nothing prepared me!
I've travelled to cities across Germany staying in a range of hotels. This is awful, the next inspection it will be fortunate to stay 3 stars. The service was poor and rude in my opinion. The room was a disgrace, the key hardly worked and the shower wow! The door was hanging off, it dipped slow water and covered the floor. There was two tiny sheets to cover us on a cold night. Whenever I asked about this rude staff quickly grabbed the phone. I found the whole place very intimidating, cold and noisy.
