"The hotel is definitely old, outdated but my room was clean. I stayed 3 nights alone & I felt safe! I was traveling back & forth to time square which was perfect for me. I was using the free airport shuttle to my advantage & uber/lyft. I ate at the cafe twice & the price was fair for me. Overall the hotel price was nice for me for New Year week & I spent it going to NYC all day so a win-win situation "

"Check-in was a breeze. The front desk staff were always friendly and h helpful. The room was nice and clean it had a coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. The breakfast was pretty good. The hotels location was very convenient with a free shuttle to and from Newark Airport. A short walk to the Jersey Garden Mall as well as a bus from the mall that goes to Port Authority, NYC. I would definitely stay at The Hampton Inn & Suites again and book through Expedia. "
