2 out of 5
Tried to change my arrival date and I called five times over two days. I finally spoke to a person who could help me but in the end wasn't able to adjust my reservation. The signage is poor and no place to park your car while you "check-in". After signing multiple documents, they took a photo of me. I asked about parking...I had to walk a block down the street where I had to purchase a parking pass for $10 for one night - they only took cash. I left my car parked illegally in front of this apartment building while I did this and then brought my luggage upstairs. The concierge said she would keep an eye on my car. My room was extremely hot and both AC units were extremely noisy. My room had a view of the Statue of Liberty which was great but one of my blinds in the bedroom didn't work. The elevator was extremely slow and dated. I went to dinner at a nearby steakhouse and had a difficult time finding the entrance to the parking lot as it was dark and the signage was extremely poor. The parking lot was located across the street, across the railroad tracks. I travel a lot on business and always use Expedia to book my reservations. This time I used the phone app and perhaps missed this detail. I will not be recommending this hotel to regular business travelers. It might be good for a long-term stay but it should have been clearly noted on your app.…Tried to change my arrival date and I called five times over two days.
