"Everything within the property was excellent from the front desk to my room. It was spacious and clean, a perfect suite for a single person or couple on the fifth floor. If you’re driving, parking may be an issue as the street is very narrow and one-way and only available for delivery, pick-ups and drop-offs.
The location is not would have been my personal preference, but it was easy to get used to as so many people of all ages walked up and down the street. I would stay at this location again. The staff was very friendly and held unto my luggage as I had a late evening flight."
"This is NOT a luxury hotel. It is a clean, safe, mostly quiet place to crash. The room has a bed, a couple of hooks, a small shelf, and a tiny mirror. Bathrooms and showers are communal. The hostel enforces quiet hours after nine which is appreciated for early risers. You will still hear your neighbors coming and going. Ear plugs and masks are provided to minimize noise/light if you choose. The top of the pod is open (for fire safety) so if a neighbor turns on a light, it will light up your pod slightly. Be prepared for a minimalistic experience and pack light. With all that said, I would absolutely stay here again. For the price, it was a great option to stay in Manhattan. The staff were very friendly, they will allow you to store your luggage prior to check-in, and the hostel is less than a 10 minute walk from several subway lines. "
"If you use the room just to sleep this place is excellent. I spent all my time out exploring so very limited time in room. Was a little noisy at times during the night but nothing major. For the cost relative to other options very good. "
