Loved the neighborhood. Quiet, safe, and very walkable with lots of lovely restaurants, coffee shops, bagel shops, etc nearby. Short walk to the subway on Broadway. Spacious, clean rooms with very comfortable beds and pillows.
The only downsides I can think of were minor--the hairdryer was a bit tricky to turn on, the bathtub was old-style with a shower curtain, and the fact that the QR code menu for room service from the adjacent restaurant offered beer but not wine. However there was a wine store across the street--I was just feeling lazy one night and really wanted a glass of wine in my room! Perhaps they would've brought some if I called and asked. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel if you don't mind a more old-school, traditional decor.
