"The hotel is in a great spot. The room wasn't huge but most NYC hotel rooms are small. The hallways did have a weird smell but the rooms seemed clean and decent. Nice staff."
"Great location, but rooms are very tired, especially the bathrooms. The air conditioning did work, but was like having a freight train in the room - even with earplugs in it was distractingly loud.
Didn't eat breakfast in the Murals restaurant, but the attached Randolph's Bar was a cool spot to have a beer.
Overall, you couldn't beat the location, but the hotel needs a major renovation.
I would probably choose a more modern hotel for future visits to Manhattan."
"We went to check in a few hours early and they said if a room was available early, they would let us know. Just as the man at the desk was saying that, he saw a room had just opened up, so we got to check in around 12:30 when check in is normally 3 which was an amazing start. Our room was great and the balcony was a terrace which may have been an upgrade from what I originally booked. Regardless, it was a great stay."
"The property was clean and in a very convenient location. Staff was very helpful for my stay, particularly Maria at the reception desk. Two thumbs ups!"
