"Our first night, I had a mishap with my room and was displeased. Danery and her manager exemplified a superb level of professionalism, respect, and promptness to make things right. I also received my scuba certification at the dive shop, another amazing group of people. Our upgraded room was gorgeous, 3 terraces, huge kitchen..Location was perfection...I will ONLY stay at Infinity Bay when I visit Honduras! Love,Love, Loved!! Thanks Infinity Bay!"

"We spent 4 wonderful nights at this property. It is away from the crowds of the main tourist locations on Roatan. The sunset views from our villa plunge pool were absolutely stunning. The entire experience from transportation from the airport upon arrival with Kenny, front desk reception Roberto and team to drinks and breakfast daily in the poolside bar/restaurant with Isaac and Sherice(apologies for misspelling), and dinner in Las Pergolas was amazing. We didn’t get to experience all that is located here including the golf course, scuba diving, and other water activities at the beach club so we plan on visiting again soon! Thank you again for such a wonderful experience!"

"This property is definitely a diamond in the rough. You wouldn't know by walking down the road that it was even there. The grounds are beautiful, the staff is friendly and the food was great. The only complaint I have is that the mattress was a little too firm for me. Of course that's just preference. I would not let that stand in the way of staying here again. I would give this place a 10/10! "

"This is mature family-run property where they have figured out what works well in a tropical salt-air environment and what does not. So while it is not a glitzy new boutique resort, it also doesn't have the "Christmas afternoon" problems that result when spiffy new stuff meets salt-laden air. It's just clean, and they after things for you when you need it. They're also not just accepting of you patronizing restaurants in the adjoining small resorts, but encourage it. Relax and chill, you won't be made to feel like the hostage of a rich people's ghetto!"

"If I could give 20 stars-I would! We had an amazing stay at La Placita. We were greeted in the airport lobby by the hotel shuttle, and transported in a very comfortable van to the property. La Placita is located at the end of a small shopping plaza (hence the name). This was perfect because it gave many close options for restaurants and souvenir shopping. The property is part of Mayan Princess and Las Sirenas. As a result, we had access to their pool and beach chairs. The pool is a 2 minute walk from La Placita and West Bay beach is approximately 3 minutes. The walk is simple and pleasant. The property is also close to Bananarama. Bananarama is a tourist trap with terrible service, but they have wonderful happy hour drink and food specials that you should take advantage of. What makes La Placita truly exceptional is the staff and facility cleanliness. Every person we encountered from house keeping, to the restaurant, to the shuttle drivers, to the front desk was top notch. The front desk staff (Shelby, Rose, and Jessie) always welcomed us with a smile and kind words. They were so kind with our young daughter and made her trip truly special. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the plaza. We did not find it to be loud at night and slept very well. The balcony was gigantic. The rooms were immaculate. The rain shower in the bathroom was so refreshing after a hot day on the beach. The water was warm with great water pressure. 10/10-loved everything"
