Hotel located a 2 minute walk from the centre of the town and other bigger towns/cities are a short drive or taxi away. Would highly recommend this hotel and this town in general for anyone looking to have a quiet and relaxing holiday."

"En general correcto, ya que los muebles de cocina esta no estan muy en condiciones. Tuve un problema de cucarachas, concretamente dos que me hicieron tirar todo aquello que tenia abierto. Les avise y le echaron un produ to y unas pipetas pero al dia siguie te vol ian a estar ahí. Eso sí tanto la ubi acion como las camas era perfecto"

"This is a lovely property that is very close to the beach and a 5 min cycle ride to Monte Gordo. There is also a nearby shop attached to a cafe that is perfect for essentials. The beach itself (5 mins walk away) is stunning and seems to go on forever. As is clear from the pictures, decoratively the house is a tad dated inside. For those who don't mind this, however, it offers a perfect Algarve beach house. Although the house has 5 bedrooms, the small living area would make it a bit of a squeeze...

"A casa situa-se numa pequena quinta com mais casas, rodeadas por muitas plantas e animais. Portanto, em contato direto com a natureza. Muito calmo, ideal para descansar, a quinta fica isolada de qualquer localidade e acção. O Sr. Agostinho proprietário é uma simpatia e sempre presente e prestável. Gostamos muito. "

"We loved the house and location however it took (2) days of heating the house to get the chill to retreat and make it tolerable . The tile floors on the first floor retained the cold; so we retreated to the upstairs bedroom to warm up to sleep. We are sure it would be a more pleasant experience in the summer months"

"Incredible from start to finish. Food was top quality Hotel is very cool Pool is great for adults and kids. Most importantly they were amazing with my daughter, the little touches from balloons and teddy bears in the room on arrival to chatting with her daily."

"This was our second stay at Maria Nova. All the staff are friendly, welcoming and hard working. Rooms are adequate and cleaned most days. Breakfast is very good considering it’s included in stay. Although hotel is beginning to look a little tired around edges. I think it is very well priced and should meet most people’s expectations."
