"Nothing bad at all really to say about the place, clean bed and room for the night. Not for some, but if you want something 10 minutes walk from the Tube and 30 minutes from the centre of town, you're laughing. Clean, not too noisy. Just the only thing was the room was like an oven and it was only April and mildly warm. Heated floor couldn't be switched off in the room, asked at the bar and was told someone would come and look, nobody did. I'd say the hotel may want to buy some fans and stick them in the wardrobes. That's literally my only critique. Oh and if you're struggling with stairs, it won't be for you!"

"Pity you can’t check details else you would see I did not stay there as I got a phone call to say there was a problem with the hotel and they would have to move me to another hotel 30 minutes away as it was a busy weekend with football at Wembley they did say I would get a 50% discount as a good will but as yet not hear anything about a refund"

"We were welcomed by a lovely lady on reception. The room and bathroom were extremely clean and very comfortable. The young waitress in the restaurant was lovely! We visited for the university open day and she gave my granddaughter lots of tips on uni life at Hertfordshire. Charming young woman…. A credit to the hotel! I plan to visit my granddaughter regularly and would most definitely stay at the Comet when I do. "
