"Staff were lovely and breakfast was well cooked. Surprised it was a buffet breakfast. We had a really good rate so absolutely no complaints. It was starting to look a little tired, with build up in the corners of the bathroom around the shower, and chips in the walls and paintwork of our room. The view on the top floor is lovely and made for a nice touch to visiting family where I’d originally grown up."

"Lovely place to stay, great staff and beautiful surroundings. We only stayed one night but felt like we made the most of what was on offer. Had a swim late in the evening and first thing in the morning, pool was slightly chilly but a good size and lovely for the kids. Room was spacious, comfy and clean. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. All the staff we met were very friendly, particular mention to Rebecca the receptionist who gave us a very warm welcome and explanation of the facilities. Enjoyed the grounds and the large flock of peacocks in the morning before we left- this was a stop off to break a long journey and we’d absolutely stay there again. "

"Rooms are small but comfortable and clean. Coffee machine in our room and extractor fan in the bathroom did not work..but neither majorly Impacted our stay. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Bar and restaurant were decent. The car park is small and suitable for smaller cars. Location is decent, close to restaurants and shops. "

"This is a really lovely hotel, convenient location, it has just had £6.5M Spent on it, a very nice spa, restaurant and the breakfast is lovely too. "

"Unfortunately there was an issue eithTv and car charger during oyr stay. I have emailed escapade about this but have recieved no response over a week later. This is a shame as the grounds are beautiful and the staff were wonderful during our stay!"
