"Room was a little shabby with a number of maintenance requirements (sockets not working, sink blocked, toilet constantly leaking from cistern). The main bar had no beer or wine at 1030 in the evening. Staff were generally apathetic and the dining room was like an 80s works cafe. The lifts were only partially working. All a bit run down and tired for the price point. Oh and the room was a ridiculous duplex with a very steep spiral staircase down to the bathroom."

"Great breakfast . Rooms lovely and comfortable- they had some issues with heating due to very cold weather but sorted it out . Rooms could possibly do with a deep clean as ceiling had a few cobwebs which heating vent highlighted by blowing them around . "

"the room are specious ,kleen , looks as if refurbished recently, the only problem we have the central heating wast working and the weather that night was very cold ,but when we called the receptionist was very helpful offered us either the maintenance will come and check it or move use us to another room which we did ,staff are helpful and the breakfast was good , car park was reasonable £15 pounds for 24 hours park"

"Overall, this hotel is far below the standards we expect from Sandman Hotels in Canada. During our stay, we experienced multiple issues. Each night, the central heating shut down in the middle of the night. The room did not have a hair dryer, there was insufficient coffee provided for the length of our stay, and there was no daily room cleaning service. The pool facilities were cold, outdated, overcrowded, and poorly maintained. The water was not clear, and there appeared to be no enforcement...

"Room is just terrible. The room was extremely small. The bed size was not appropriate for a couple was a full size only. Not even shampoo or soap, very , very poor. I do not recommend."

"Review should realistically be between average and good. Staff were great and very friendly/helpful. It was good for the price. Room is clean but the bed mattress was so uncomfortable. Noisy as God knows what was going on in the alley my room backed onto. Breakfast was great. "
