BEAUTIFUL 5-BEDROOM HOUSE WITH HEATED SWIMMING POOL, GAS GRILL, LARGE DECK

The downstairs bathroom and living room furniture are newly remodeled or replaced!

Dear potential guests. We thank you for looking at our wonderful home. If you would do us a favor, please read all of the information listed here. We have a list of potential fees you may encounter when booking. Thank you for your time.

As of Nov 2023, the pool is heated to a comfortable 85-90 degrees from November to March.

Totally remodeled 5 bedroom/3 bathrooms, sleeps 12 in beds and 2 on a brand new queen size sofa couch. Three bedrooms are upstairs. 1 King size master on-suite, with cable TV. One bedroom with a queen-size bed with a full bathroom. Also a bedroom with 2 full-size bunk beds with gaming TV. Then downstairs, we have a bedroom with 2 queen beds and another bedroom with a queen-size bed, and a full-size bathroom. The living room has a sectional sofa, with additional chairs for plenty of seating. A 60" Smart HDTV. Great location! Only 4.5 blocks from the seawall and 1 mile from the strand. Beautiful heated pool for relaxing after a day at the beach. Please understand this pool is only 5 feet deep and it is NOT for diving and is heated from November to March to about 85 degrees. There is plenty of deck space that is covered along with a ceiling fan for your comfort. A gas grill for your cooking pleasure and an outdoor table and chairs.

For events, we do not allow more than 20 guests at the home, including the 14 who may stay overnight.

Possible fees each will be charged at the time of booking or just after.
Nightly rental fee
State and City Hotel Taxes of 15% Total. HomeAway collects the taxes
A cleaning fee of $190 for your stay
A non-refundable pet fee of $75 for the first pet, $100 for 2. IF you bring a pet, and we have a 2 pet maximum. Just select the Pet option when booking for 1 pet,
otherwise please let us know and we can invoice you for your other pet.
A VRBO service fee. This is a percentage of your rental fee set by HomeAway
and this fee goes directly to VRBO.
Guests purchase when booking an insurance policy for $79 that covers any damages.

Please note, on certain days the pool company will come into the driveway gate to service the pool. It is usually in the morning about 9 am. Also, housekeeping could show up at 11 am on departure days, especially if another guest is checking that afternoon.

PLEASE clean the grill after each use, this helps the next guest and housekeeping, enjoy the grill when they arrive. Let Richard know if a propane bottle is empty.

To decrease litter on the beach and protect marine life, the City of Galveston has implemented a City Ordinance (No 19-017 Secs 8-27) that states all items left on the beach after sunset will be discarded. The Galveston Park Board strictly enforces the ordinance.

You must be 25 years of age to rent our home.

Out of respect for our neighbors, we cannot allow large gatherings at the home. No Prom or Graduation parties. If you are thinking of having a gathering at the house, please ask the owners before booking. No DJ's for music

During hurricane season, June to Nov, no refunds are offered for a stay unless a category 1 or higher named hurricane is headed at Galveston.

Family reunion

Spent the week with brothers and sisters, and had the best time in this lovely home. It was comfortable, spacious, great location and affordable. It probably won't be the only time.

We stayed for a weekend youth church retreat. The kids had lots of fun, the adults had time to chill a bit too. We were close to everything. We were even able to walk down to the beach. We had everything we needed.

Always a Great Stay

We've stayed at this property in the past and it was just as great this year. The house has everything you need and the backyard feels like an oasis. It was the perfect getaway and felt like a real vacation. Would highly recommend for groups or families.

Wonderful stay with family. The property was big enough for everyone. The pool was wonderful. We rode our bicycles to the seawall. Very convenient to everything.

Fun in the sun

We had a fantastic long weekend with friends and family in the house. The pool was great. The neighborhood was quite, yet a close walk to restaurants, bars and the beach. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and everything needed for coffee was stalked. The beds and couches were comfortable

Beautiful Beach House

Great house for my best friend her husband and 3 kids and my husband and our 4 kids. Enough room for all of us. Down the street from the beach but we preferred our time at the house pool. We BBQ one night on the grill while relaxing on the deck. Boys were able to play video games on the Xbox. Our girls had their little slumber party in the front room. Something to do for everyone. We all had a great time. Definitely home away from home vibe with washer, dryer and fully equipped kitchen.

This house was definitely not worth the price. It was dirty, with hair and crumbs all over the floors. The table was sticky and bathtubs had sand. My family came here to spend time as we all live hours apart. However, the pool was gross with dirt and hair despite being cleaned on "Thursdays". Only there for a weekend so we just cleaned up and went on. The biggest issue for us was there was a pornographic photo with a naked women and in lingerie on the fridge. When we closed the fridge, the photo fell off and kids saw. I feel like if this place had a decent cleaning, this would have been caught. It made the rest of the stay uncomfortable as seeing sexual acts take place in the same living room your 5 year old is laying on the couch is especially unsettling considering the lack of cleansliness. At checkout, I messaged the owner to let them know what I would include in the rating, so they'd we aware. They advised us to message earlier next time so they can fix the issue. However with only staying 2 nights, some of our stay shouldnt have to be interupted to have the house cleaned. As far as the picture? Can't unsee that. Anyway a day after check out, they message us about a lamp that was broken. I know for a fact we left everything intact. I had to review pictures in VRBO post to even see where it was and we did not even use this room. We did a thorough walk though and checked every room with no issues. Very scammy! Wouldnt stay again!!!

Annual Family Vacation

We love everything about this property! The listing and pictures of this home are truly accurate. It's a lovely and clean home, comfortable, has everything you need (we grilled outside and cooked inside). The large dining table accommodated us all for meals and boardgames, and we all had a blast in the beautiful pool and patio. The house is centrally located to the Seawall and Strand, and the neighborhood is very peaceful. We enjoyed our daily walks with our furbaby and the short walk to beach and Fish Taco Co., which has the best and freshest tacos in town. This is our 3rd (possibly 4th) stay at Just Beachy. We've even seen the beautiful renovations of the bathrooms through the years. Great communication with the manager and easy check in and out. We will definitely be back.

Another great stay!

Our group has stayed many times and this was another great stay. The house has everything you need but the star of the show is the backyard. Even in summer the patio provides a nice outdoor stay and the pool is big enough for a larger group to spread out and float around.

This house has everything you need. A fabulous pool and patio area! Plenty of room, with 5 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms! The location is close to the beach and close to downtown. We will definitely be back!

Girls take over Galveston

Perfect location for our girls trip! Easy to walk to beach and restaurants. Property manager and the owner were very quick to respond to any questions and went over and above our expectations. The backyard was amazing.

Inkie Pinkie Girls Trip 24

We had the best time, location was great, parking for 3 off road and 1 on road (with ample space). Kitchen equipped with just about anything you need. Pool is heated but didn't get warm enough for us to use. Internet did not work, but we didn't call because we were not on phones that much. The beds were comfy and towels plenty.
