"This house was perfect for our girls getaway! If they only could’ve managed to make the weather nicer it would’ve been perfect! It is the first time I’ve been at a house That was nicer than the pictures looked! The accommodations were wonderful in the kitchen was properly equipped for everything we needed. The beach view was wonderful. Location to downtown Galveston was perfect. Our host was kind and accommodating and quick to respond. Would love to be able to come back again, especially if the weather was better! The beach location would’ve been ideal if we could’ve enjoyed it a little more often! 10 out of 10!!"

"Within a stones throw of the beach. Living area was great for lounging. We made stew in the kitchen and cooked breakfast every day. The property was well taken care of. Quiet neighborhood. We had a wonderful time. "

"It was in a very quiet neighborhood and very relaxing. We had a nice view of the ocean from the balcony and could hear the calming sounds of the waves on the beach."

"This place was beautiful. We were very pleasantly surprised by the closeness to the oceanfront. My only complaint about this rental are simple fixes. The water upstairs (3rd floor bathroom) did not work. The lock at the front door was difficult. I would suggest that be replaced. I alerted the owner and he was very responsive. We will absolutely be renting this place again. "

"It is a lovely cottage! We truly enjoyed our stay, spending time on the newly renovated deck, really big one! With beautiful view over the canal:) It is a covered deck so life saver during summertime!:) Great place for fishing from the lower deck as well. Cottage is really clean, very cozy, has everything we needed to relax and open 2026, including plenty of board games! Highly recommended! And host Claire was really helpful making sure we have everything we need:) thank you! "

"The house had everything we needed. It was in a great location and very peaceful. Easy walk to the beach and the gated deck was perfect for having our dog outside to “people and dog watch“. Perfect location if you’re looking for a relaxing place away from the typical tourist traps. We will definitely be back! "
