"The host was very easy to talk to. The home met our needs. My 17 yr old grandson loved it so much that he started envisioning a party for himself. We were on the beach sand. Plenty of refrigeration2 refrigerators and wine cooler. Lots of stairs to climb. Definitely plenty of ares to sleep. Worth another stay"

"The property is an overall decent place. A few things that were noticed. The checkout time was changed to 10 AM when it was advertised as 11 AM before booking. Water bugs were present in the living room area at night time. This is expected in a coastal area. The kitchen is in need of renovations. I was left a one star review on cleanliness. This was after going out of my way to make sure everything was picked up snd trash was taken to the street recepticles. I placed dirty towels in the washer and started the load. Washed all dishes. Left sheets on bed as instructed. But I guess you cant please everyone. No big deal."

"The listing photos need an update to reflect the true condition of the property. If you want a pretty beach house inside and out, this one is not for you. It needs some serious maintenance on the outside and a few inside areas need attention. However, the host was great, the house was clean enough. The air conditioning worked well enough. Some of the things that were listed as included, were either missing or not in working condition. Like the outdoor shower, string lights under the balcony, no basic spices, no cookie sheet/pan. Here are some notes I made while staying: Rotted spots in the bathroom need to be fixed, the soft spots in the floor fixed, cracked window needs to be fixed, a deep clean all around, especially on the couch, it has a smell. A bigger pot to boil stuff in, clean the moldy vents. Shower in the downstairs guest bathroom gets water all over the floor, needs a better shower curtain. (We moved it lower) the bunk bed mattresses are pretty thin and you can feel the slats. The microwave was new. The fridge was nice and clean.Overall, we had a good stay. The view of the ocean was nice. The most troublesome thing was the mosquitos! The downstairs under the balcony holds water after a rain and makes the mosquito problem worse. There is NO hanging out under there."

"What's bad: 1. We walked into the home with wet floor in the kitchen on on top of the stairs! I'm talking puddles of water. I contacted the host immediately via text asking to send someone to check. The host responded to the text right away but the solution was for us to mop the floor ourselves and keep an eye on any leak.2. One of the bedroom/common area had a split a/c that the remote control was missing. The unit was high up on the wall we couldn't turn it on manually. The room was hot. The host said they would look into getting us another remote but then quiet and no further response. 3. Kitchen was not well maintained and equipped. Plates and silverware were plenty, but other cooking tools were not quite enough. Only one small roll o paper towels and a single detergent pod for dishwasher. What's good: cute home with plenty of beds, above ground pool, close enough to walk to the beach"
