"It was the perfect getaway- close to home. The property was beautiful, clean and peaceful. The beach could have been cleaner, but overall we loved our stay. The food served in their variety of restaurants was delicious. We will definitely return."

"Such a lovely cottage with a view of south cove at the end of the street! It's as advertised, not fancy, but had everything we needed, and some beach amenities that were a nice suprise, and the original art on the wall makes the cottage feel special and unique. Jodi was a fantastic host!"

"I would say for other travelers going to this house, make sure the fans and AC unit up stairs are on. The bed in the loft room can get warm in the summer months if they are not turned on due to the beautiful natural light that you get at this house. Other than that, this was a great stay!"

"Easy entry, host was very tentative. Wonderful and clean property from the bedrooms to the hot tub to the Blackstone. Attention to detail was greatly appreciated. Great easy gas fireplace. This property was well thought out from a guest's point of view! Will come back again!"
Charming Waterfront Getaway — South Cove, Old Saybrook

"The home was everything I imagined it would be, but even better. First, the host is terrific. Kind and easy to communicate with, though not much communication necessary since every detail was already addressed before arrival and then a comprehensive Welcome Guide covered the rest. The home itself is spectacular. The view, mesmerizing. The perfect waterfront cottage decorated in a warm yet contemporary style — complemented by a couple of large oil paintings by the host, who is a professional artist. Anyway, all I can say is that this is a great listing in a beautiful part of Connecticut. Enjoy!"
