"Our stay at Torfhus Retreat was great. The location is perfect for exploring the Golden Circle – we could easily visit major sites without exhausting drives. The hospitality was warm and genuine, making us feel completely at home. One of our favorite surprises was the charming Icelandic horses at the fence from the neighboring farm – we got some wonderful photos of these beautiful creatures.
The food was wonderful throughout our stay. Breakfast provided everything we needed to start our days of adventure, and the four-course dinners each evening were truly memorable. We can't recommend Torfhus Retreat highly enough for anyone planning to explore Iceland's Golden Circle."

"Great venue with something for everyone. Pool table, ping pong, rock climbing for the wee, and swings and a hot tub! Great view, plenty of space for privacy and what a view!"
