Best hotel I stayed in while in Scotland. Had all the room essentials (shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer, even a fan). Staff was super accommodating, parking was very convenient and location was fairly central.

They allowed us to check in early and provided invaluable insights that helped us get the most out of our time in Glasgow. The location was amazing with dining and shopping nearby and access to both National Rail and local transport. We slept well and were able to leave our baggage in a secure locker allowing us to have a few extra hours to explore before our train on checkout day. They were renovating when we stayed but it seems every effort was made to avoid interfering with guests.

Previously stayed here when it was the Mercure. Rooms have been refreshed, as well as reception, bar and breakfast areas. Very conveniently situated, good breakfast. Room a bit hot, and couldn’t see any way to cool it, or open a window. Otherwise, a comfortable stay.

The room we stayed in was small but nicely decorated. The bed was so comfy and clean. We didn't have breakfast as we had an early train to catch....considering the hotel is being refurbished at the moment everything was as I hoped it would be. Lovely staff and very helpful

Rooms were totally fine, beds good, the staff kind and helpful; and, the location superb. The parking was really dodgy, and not at all easy to get to, uncovered in an alley downtown... The drinks were a bit on the pricely side, not a lot of selection. Restaurant - well there were a ton all around that were more exciting. We would return here, but a legitimate 4/5: not excellent

It’s a functional city centre hotel. Rooms are small and dim. Could use brighter lights. Okays as a stopover, but not for any length of time. Hot water a luxury - be prepared to wait 5 minutes for hot water to arrive once the tap is turned on. It’s recently undergone a rebranding from Mercure, and it’s still undergoing cosmetic changes. Parking is expensive at 15 per night. Breakfast was average. Food okay, but limited choice and same choice each day. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Maybe over-pushing the “please leave a review” requests.

A good hotel but extortionate cost. I know rates were higher because of the Commonwealth Games but how can you justify that cost, particularly as the breakfast was nothing much to write home about. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly an oriental lady.
