"Good day! I was very surprised when I arrived from 2 flights the room was ready and what a lovely room with a corner view in 8 th floor Jamie the front desk put me in! The river is there beautiful birds flying back and forth and I woke up seeing the birds flying and then I saw at night the full moon in the sky so spectacular while I lay in the bed! I requested a news paper and they had it ready before I left! I must mention staff are so warm including Katie, Gerry, AMANDA who helped me get the newspaper complimentary early and JAMIE who were all well trained! Jamie was an exceptional well trained highly courteous and very sugar sweet personality! He knows how to make customers stress free and happy and I will recommend this hotel to others! I arrived into a lovely reception area refreshments on the table ! Restaurant made me a delicious meal! Breakfast was filling and very clean location! LIDL is across the street for any essentials! Central station is nearby ! Queen station is around 20 minutes non stop walk trains going rapidly to Edinburgh every 30 minutes! There are lots of bars restaurants like busy and different styles nearby! Buchanan train station buses go or walking 25 mins and train station nearby to get there fast! Recommend taking the day tour Rabbie’s to OBAN and mountain viewing , Loch s and a beautiful castle Take the train to see the TUNNOCKS FACTORY area AND BAKERY FOR DELICIOUS CARAMELs from glasglow to UDDINGSTON train stop! "

"Parking costs 12GBP heads up Hotel was ok but a/c didn’t work, shower fixtures were wobbly, beds were extremely firm. Not the best Marriot"

"The room I stayed in was clean, the bed was comfy, the room was dark and quiet. It was a disabled room which I hadn't asked for. the bathroom was huge but there was no toilet lid and the wash basin was tiny even though the shower was good. There was no kettle in the room, which was a major disadvantage for me but you can get a drink from the cafe upstairs and bring it back to your room. Not brilliant. The staff were pleasant. The breakfast was ok, but not very warm, although you could get as much as you wanted."

"I wanted to like this hotel more than I did. After a lively conversation with an airport taxi driver, I expected more than an indifferent reception from the front lobby staff. As a first-timer to Scotland, this slightly dampened my excitement about being in Glasgow. No one greeted me or asked if I needed anything when I hesitated in the lobby. A few of the front staff didn’t even look up from their computers. This hotel is a four-star, so I expect more than a shrug when inquiring about Glasgow attractions. At the bar, I waited seven minutes for someone to ask if I needed anything, even though several staff members rushed back and forth between the bar and the separate restaurant. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, but the bathroom was small. I didn’t find space for my toiletries, and the hotel offered no guest amenities. The room service is limited, but the pricing is reasonable. The good news is that the hotel is in the city center and close to the train station. Would I return to this hotel? No. But it has its benefits."

"Staff was nice and room was cleaned daily. We did notice some maintenance needed to be done in the shower. Caulking on the shower was over it service life and cracking causing mold growth. We also noticed stains on the comforter. Lastly, wished breakfast was included with hotel stay. "
